Poor Course
Would not recommend. Course lay out is terrible. Tee box's way too close to previous greens. Dangerous for the poor level of players.
Debris covered greens
Many greens were covered with debris from trees, making putting difficult.
Great Short Course
If you are a high handicap golfer you will loose a lot of golf balls.
If you are mid handicap golfer, hit irons off the tee and you will break 80.
If you are a low handicap golfer, you will be hitting short irons into almost all of the par 4's.
There are 3 challenging par 3's.
No Par 5 holes.
winter golf
A cold gusty windy day, not many golfers out. leafs not bad fairways and greens
wide open winter golf
A cold brisk windy day kept most golfers away. The course look good not too many leafs on fairway and greens
wind chill
A sunny wind chill cold day, wind gust to 20mph, and temps below 40. So the course was almost empty apart from die hards, no waiting, got around in under 3hrs
Slow Play - Choppy Greens - Nice Course & Staff
First off the staff and the course are very nice. Fairways were well kept and the starter & club house folks were very accomodating. The bad part is the pace of play, took 3 hours to finish 9 holes with no ranger in sight to help move groups ahead. Once you get on the green the ball marks were everywhere so our group had a hard time trying to fix all the marks so we could putt.
Leave your drivr in your car. Don't ask for water.
This is the shortest of the city courses. There are no par 5's.
There are aome really challenging par 3's.
If you are a low handicap golfer, you won't need more than a 4 iron off the tee on amy of the holes. This course eats balls that are not on the fairway. Do not pull out your driver. Better still leave it in the car.
The check in is horribly slow do to their computer system. Book on line if you can. Golf Now should allow for a cart to be paid for online as well, that way the Pro Shop can be skipped.
The food concession has the most miserable person in charge. Don't ask for water he will dirext you to a hose outside. In the summer they put water out on the course.
They need more ball cleaners.
