Narrow fairways
You should know how to use your woods and hybrids with narrow fairways, besides that it’s a great course to play .
Hot but not humid
A good day of golfing with great weather on a relatively short course. I played irons only and scored better than using woods and driver.
Oooofff
Soo.... Course could be great, however the pace of play absolutely killed us... Barely got to the end of hole 9 and just had to call it a day, solid 10min wait at each hole... absolutely unreal... People also skipping around playing holes out of order...
The course itself is nice and could be a great place to play, they should honestly charge more but not book as many T times in order to allow people to play a consistent round.
Wide open
The course was wide open, probably due to rain forecast that never happened. I had time to practice missed chips and puts, retee bad drives etc.
The greens grew in nicely making putting better, and sprinklers were on to soften them.
Crowded
Two Queens courses had tournaments and were closed, federal holiday and schools were closed. Staff were great but a 6 hour round. the later tee times would not be able to finish before dark. Unusual for this course.
Slow Weekend Play
Super slow weekend play. 5 hour round for a short par 64,. Four groups on one tee box, Smdh where is the Ranger? Lots of waiting to hit, 20 minutes at times. Only had one open hole to hit from for the round. As I said, maybe because it was the weekend? Unenjoyable. If you are anywhere from an intermediate player or better this is not for you. Lots of beginners and hackers. Course was in good condition though.
