Summer is getting the better of HH - remember it being in better shape, haven’t gotten a ton of rain and i know it’s hard this time of year. A lot more funky hole layouts and blind shots that i remember. Not my favorite but a good course

great potential. some holes need work - 2-5 cut all the waste area and needless trees down. slows down play, takes driver out of

play on par 5. the elevated tee boxes need clearer view of goody holes; cut it all down and give the course a more open and free flowing feel -

looks like a jungle on some of the opening holes.

back 9 is awesome

From the green tees its almost 6400 and plays long!! Wish they had a Blue / Green Combo!!

Beautiful piece of land. Marvelous views of hills in the distance. Tough but fair layout. Need to hit it straight and control your distance well as fall offs around fairways and greens are penal. Staff is wonderful. Players don't repair pivots or ball marks as they should.

Can't finish a round under 5 hours due to waiting and slow play. Marshalls should be going around to speed up the play.

Pace of play gets impacted more and more in a negative manner as superintendents across the country think carts are not made to drive on grass. No one should have to walk 100 yards to and from their ball when it is in the middle of the fairway.

The design of many of the cart paths are too far from the greens and tees further slowing play. Also there are several hilly areas around tees and greens that many seniors must have difficulty walking. Finally when holes are designed that from the green you are walking back toward the hole you just finished is not pace or safety friendly.

The scenery viewed from the mountaintop is not merely magnificent—it is absolutely breathtaking. You must play with unceasing vigilance, for there is not a single hole where you can afford to let your guard down. The sheer exhilaration and thrill born of this intense pressure serve as proof that this is truly one of the finest golf courses in New York. After enduring a grueling, heart-stopping battle across the course, you finally arrive at the 18th hole—only to be greeted by a bunker lying in wait on the right. This is a course that demands a blend of both precision and long-distance power to conquer; furthermore, every member of the staff is an absolute professional. I offer them my highest commendation.

Course is cool , a bit tricky. Conditioner were good. Good tee ball is a must.

We had a few slow groups in front of us. 10th hole back up was 6 groups deep. We found the ranger sitting inside at the bar. When he finally came out is attitude was poor. Stating “ it’s a public course “ . No attempt to keep play moving. I walked off after 15.

This is the thing that ruins golf ! I don’t want to be on the course for 5.5 - 6 hours on a Friday afternoon.

Also the restaurant stopped serving food early. 4-30 or 5

It was “ happy hour “ on a Friday afternoon and nothing but a cold pre- made sandwich in the beverage cooler .

I find this typical of county courses.

For all you new golfers out there , learn etiquette , rules and keep moving. It’s ok to not be a great golfer . It’s not ok to be slow and hold up the whole course !

Course is awesome, a lot of challenging holes and blind spots. Greens roll amazing and tee boxes were in solid shape couldve been a little better. Staff was very nice and they have a sweet little pub in there. Worth every penny I would say. Played on a thursday so i didn't have any pace problems but i could see it being a problem because a 15 HC golfer would probably be searching for his ball the whole time. 30 seconds and go.
