Fun quality course in great condition. Scenic. Challenging layout. A few quirky holes that are odd designs fitting into the space but overall a very fun track. greens were nice. Pace is typically on time to fast

Provide carts there for single Occupancy which is great the only problem is I played here before and the greens were in bad shape

they were punched and sanded a month ago and still have not recovered

Fairways were nice

We were notified by the starter this course will be Cart path only for for the remainder of the season. Apparently too many carts going on the course with the 1 cart per person rule in effect. Greens were being aerated the week of 5/13/20. Staff was very friendly. Fairways were in great shape. Heavy/thick rough.

I have played this course a dozen times and I want to like it but I can’t. Value for dollar is so far off. $80 for a stacked up start at the first, aerated greens, concrete bunkers and over grown rough that hides a ball a yard from the “fairway.” Fairways are equivalent to road conditions in Brooklyn. Staff is rude and could care less for any personal interaction. The nostalgia of riding in caddyshack era gas powered carts is fun but no gps and questionable texture on the pleather is equivalent to a public shower. Save your money and play at literally any other course in Westchester and you’ll have a much more enjoyable round. *insert thumbs down*

I had forgotten how nice this course is. The facilities are clean and the course looked great. A bit tight, but that is expected in Northern Westchester. Gave a rating of Good for the Course Conditions as the greens had just been aerated.

Nice course in Hudson Hills. Great views and nice holes. Very challenging and the next three weeks the greens will be still in bad condition due to arification!

After playing for first time, enjoyed course very much. I am high 80's low 90's player on most courses (finished 91 here). Course has tight fairways and fairly woodsy. Will lose balls on bad shots and some that are good (have all eyes in group follow shot). Overall has fun hole designs. Holes had some aerated greens (conditions will only get nicer). Cant wait to return and beat my score.

Baffled by one or two of the recent reviews of this course and felt compelled to correct them. I've been up in Ossining, NY since March and have had the pleasure to play this course a couple of times a week since. Every person on the staff I've dealt with is incredibly accommodating and aims to make the experience safe and fun. Harry (starter) and Tom (in the clubhouse) are the ones I've dealt with the most, and truly stand out as people working hard in a tough time to make sure everyone is secure in the conditions and able to enjoy a round of golf (though again, everyone on the staff I've dealt with is like this). Having been around golf for a while and having a family member in the industry, wanted to point out a few things:

1) It's March/April in NY. It's going to be a little wet and windy, and it's going to be cart path only. Just the nature of the sport. You can't ruin the course all year. Greens will be aerated. It's a necessity.

2) The course itself is a lot of fun to play. Most of the holes you are faced with decisions and need to think strategically, which is always the sign of a good course. To me it's by far the most interesting and challenging of the Westchester County courses.

3) Unfortunately, any public golf course is going to be faced with the problem of having people that don't have proper etiquette. It's nothing unique here.

Going to repeat this - they are making it as safe as possible for all guests. I've never once felt like there was any risk to my health - and I can see the extra precautions they are putting in to both the carts and the setup. Big thank you to all of you for an oasis during this time - looking forward to being out there again soon.

This course is extremely hilly and was cart path only, perhaps due to the rain the day prior? Because of the terrain, I’m not sure one could take the cart closer to one’s ball even when the course dries out. This resulted in taking several clubs down to ball to get a better look. That, in turn, affected pace of play and feeling rushed by a twosome behind us (4). The greens had just been aerated, which we weren’t aware of. $70+ for these conditions was a bit pricey but I’m sure it comes back to supply and demand.

We booked through GolfNow and called twice before going to the course to address Covid issues. When we arrived, they wanted us to pair up with 2 people that we did not know. We balked, at which point the Pro Shop attendant said we could leave but he could not refund (I had not even left the window) or walk as a twosome. However, the starter said we would have to wait around and he would see if he had a spot (we already had a tee time). With too many people already waiting around in close proximity (by the carts, on the practice green), we left. Looks like a nice course and was a beautiful day but not safe and Starter didn't seem to care.

Course was in good condition although there were some wet and soggy spots due to rain the day before. Course is quite challenging due lots of elevation changes, blind shots, forced carry etc. beautiful views.

Great value and probably the best public course in Westchester area
