Hudson Hills Golf Course

Nice county course but you have to be in the fairway since the rough is unforgiving. You also don’t want to be long on the greens as there’s a slope into the rough on a lot of holes. Super friendly staff.

Paying full price is not worth the money given the poor shape of the tee boxes and bunkers. It doesnt look like the course has maintained the bunkers in the past 9 months. Greens were aerated what appeared to be a few weeks ago, but were rolling fairly well and nearly back to normal which was good.

Lastly, I have never seen a course have poison ivy in the rough, not in the woods or brush, but feet from the fairway.

I am a Westchester County resident and I’ve been playing Hudson’s Hills for years. Generally I love the course but I have to say the conditions today were disappointing. I understand there has been a lot of rain but the green conditions and green speeds were unacceptable for the price point. The conditions usually justify the price but sad to say today was very poor. Hoping things improve sooner rather than later or at least charge less money then.

My friend and I couldn’t stop praising the course for its conditions and the surrounding astounding beauty. Will be going to Hudson hills from here on out!

It's always a treat to play this course... a bit soggy after the rain but still a great challenge.

Extremely wet course on a sunny COLD DAY. Got there 40min before tee time. Nobody there and told to wait until my tee time. So those who booked golfnow hot deals. Don’t expect they let you go out 5 minutes early even though there is not a soul out there. When time to play. At least 10 to 12 fairway is soaking wet n not playable. Wtf!

There are a bunch of beautiful holes on this course. Unfortunately the first few times you play it you can’t enjoy them. This course needs proper management. Don’t play it without someone who knows where to aim. Knowing the course is worth at least 8 stokes. If you have someone who knows the Course you’ll have a great time .

I have played Hudson Hills a lot over the years and I was surprised how, in the past few months, it seems the grounds crew has stopped doing anything but mow the lawn. Huge brown and bare spots, obviously no fertilizer use, etc. I am afraid they are letting it go so they can eventually sell the property to developers. The problem is HH charges more than any course in the Westchester county system for an average course so they get much less play and revenue is down. Charge the same as the other courses and watch the crowds come back!

One of the worst draining issues ever on a course. They don’t tell you that the sand traps have over 1ft of water in them. The fairways were water logged and in terrible condition. Maybe a discount or a notice. Stay away!!

Course was in very good shape. Greens were true and on the fast side. Only place where some improvement needed (some re seeding) is on several tee areas. Troon does a great job.

Fairway condition was horrible. 5hr rounding pace and $115.... not worth the money and/or time

Fairways look like Baghdad, staff incredibly rude, starter has no respect for actual tee time so expect to be 30 minutes behind schedule before you even tee off. Absolutely criminal they charge $115 a round. Much better value and experience at other nearby courses. Also, expect every single shot to be blind, less than 10 times did I actually see my ball land. Greens were in great shape at least and Bar / cart service was on point.

Interesting layout but lots of blind shots the only real problem was on the 17th hole which was very up hill and didn’t know where the green was . They needed to let first time players know about that hole and that there is a sign on a tree to aim at but who knew that. What they need is an extra long pin poll.

The only other problem was the fairways where in poor condition due to lots of rain . I would go back really nice course.

Can't say enough about the staff. Friendly, helpful, and attentive. Pace of play was very good. Course conditions need some help, possibly caused by the amount of rain in recent weeks.

Cart path only for just about 90% of this course, so plan on walking uphill for every shot after the tee box. Everything’s roped off like the course is in pristine condition. Most fairways look like they had road spikes thrown down and were dragged for 100 yards. It’s a difficult course. Almost entirely hills, sand traps are mostly dirt. The rough will make you never want to play golf again. I can’t imagine who plays here for 100 a clip. The hot deal at 35 made me wanna toss my clubs out onto the taconic.

Challenging course that helps to play with someone that has played before. A couple of tough long uphill par 4's will challenge all levels. Par 5 10th has big Risk Reward layout. Greens are true and roll nicely. Rough can be challenging.
