Hudson Hills Golf Course

I’ve played this course several times and each time it seems like it gets worse. While the course condition was in decent shape, the tee boxes were completely chewed up, pace of play is ridiculously slow and no ranger in sight to keep slow players moving. The tee times are stacked less than 10 minutes apart (around 7 minute last I checked)so if it’s a full day, expect a round to last 5-6 hours. They have even charged me full price on a previous occasion where they aerated the greens to the point it’s completely full of sand and unplayable. No where near worth the $90 they charge to play here . Can’t see myself coming back here.

Greens are in the worst shape they’ve been in years. Still signs of aeration several weeks later and bare/sandy patches on almost every green. Also super slow on top of all that. Not worth the money

We play here often. Usually in excellent condition. Greens generally roll fast and true with breaks usually more drastic than read until you know the course. Rough is usually a bit thick but fair. Newer players should think of playing elsewhere, however. Challenging for mid-handicappers with some long holes and hazards strategically placed. Overall, great course.

Aeration is going on. Expect beautiful course thereafter

ALL golf courses need to post, ONLINE OR IN THE CLUBHOUSE when their greens are aerated!!! Its totaL B/S that they cant do that for people intersted in playing their course. It absolutley ruins the golf experience when you have putt on greens full of holes. Either disclose or refund someones money if want to keep it a secret until their on the first hole. Hudson Hills included

As of 4/29/24 the greens are still VERY punched. Called before I made the tee-time to ask about greens aeration. The guy said they did it two weeks ago and they’re almost completely healed. They are not. At all. Love this course, just would have appreciated some honesty. Probably would have played somewhere else today and come back when the greens are ready.

Hudson hills is a great course, but the ranger needs to kick some _ss when certain groups he identified to us at the 3rd hole start looking for balls in the deep woods instead of playing golf... ranger should have kicked them off the course... literally made us finish in almost 5hrs in the dark from a 3:10 start time... Do your job ranger and remove absurdly slow golfers after a warning...

Super fun track. Especially if you value shot placement and enjoy shaping the ball. Definitely plenty of holes where you can let it rip too. Course conditions are in excellent condition especially considering so early in the season. I’ll be back next week!
