Don't waste your money
Sadly, the course is in pretty bad shape, and I can’t blame this on weather. It looks more like lack of care. I play courses all over the state and this was probably the worse so far this year. Not worth the money asked, not even close. However, that isn’t the worse part. The ranger was rude and a complete jerk. We had 4 players in our group and one of the players is a beginner. After our tee shot on the 7th hole he stopped us and said we needed to play faster because the group in front of us, was far ahead. At this point on the 7th we had averaged 12.1 mins a hole, just below the average 13 mins a hole. We didn’t hold up the group behind use at any hole, not once did they have to wait. To add insult to it, the ranger followed us around the remaining holes. We finished in 1 hour and 50 minutes. I will never suggest or recommended playing this course….ever!!!

Great Times at Stonebridge
Nice layout, some opportunities to score and some holes play pretty tough with narrow fairways, interesting dog legs and some holes you should probably leave the driver in the bag. When the right decisions are made, can score a low round

We played last weekend - Labor Day weekend. Tee boxes were atrocious. Worst I have ever seen. In general the course was not well maintained. Traps were terrible. I realize it's COVID and no rakes but the grounds crew needs to rake out the traps each day. Greens happened to be aerated. Who does that right before a holiday weekend? Small practice green and no range. The Ranger running around was totally ineffective. Five hour round was tough.

Covid priced
Aerated greens which I knew about but the price is $64 for a weekday round which was around $40 last year. It shameful what courses are doing with Covid pricing. Also no visible cleaning products for the carts .

Miserable condition, worse layout
Stonebridge was in absolutely awful playing conditions. The tee boxes were very beat up, so much so that the blues were basically playing from the whites and in the case of 80% of the tee boxes, it was hitting off of dirt. The greens are is terrible shape, partly due to recent aeration but also due to untreated wear and tear. The fairways were in ok shape but neither the fairways, greens or tee boxes are safe from balls from other holes flying overhead due to an abysmal course layout.
The greens fee for the course isn’t too expensive but probably still probably too pricey for what you get. In addition to that, THEY CHARGE $24 PER RIDER FOR A CART ($48 for a cart and 2 riders). That is just absurd. I would never play this course again.

Course gets a lot of play. Tee boxes are beat up and fairways were pretty dry. 3 Groups were backed up on first par three. Didn’t get round in but did tee off late at 3:30 with sun setting at 7:15. $48 for 2 people in one cart is more than twice what other course cart fees are. Greens were sandy from aeration but that is normal green maintenance. $52 plus $24 for cart too much for a course in this condition

Fun but lacking clear distance markers
Pace of play was terrible but to be somewhat expected with a 2:42 Tee time. The course was fun and challenging but the difficulty in determining distance due to difficulty in finding distance markers was disappointing.

No warning for aeration
pace of play was terrible today, though ranger was around it did not get any better. 6 hour round.
what made it was was aeration was done day before and no warning was given. they offered refund but had already gone there and planned out our day. they gave us cart at no charge
the explanation was that they suddenly realiszed they had to aerate. i dont think this is acceptable for a golf course to suddenly aerate as most places plan this well in advance and warn customers of this on their website or golfnow. this and slow pace of play warrants the 1 star review. i play here several times per year but i will look elsewhere as my preferred place to play.

Pricey compared to last year
Always enjoy playing here but last year paid $51 with cart for hot deal and this year they broke it out and I paid $43+ for greens fee in advance for hot deal and when I got to the course had to pay $24 for a cart for a total of $63. I thought the $12 raise was too much.
