About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Fair price/Tough Course
The course is certainly a tough play for an average golfer. Tough greens, lots of sand and tight fairways, but it is in great shape and priced very fair.
Slightly disappointed
I’ve played the bridges many times and this was the first time playing in 4 years. The driving range was closed which was a bummer and they didn’t say why. The greens were extremely dry and bumpy. Overall it was a 6.5/10 and previously when I’ve played I would have rated it an 8/10.

Snail Pace
Tee’d off at 1:40. I called it quits before I TEE’d off hole 14 after 4:15 of play time..
To make things worse, they booked 3 singles back to back without pairing any of us. I tried pairing after hole 5 to hurry the pace of play but the guy didn’t want to, which is fine. It’s not his fault. It’s the overbooking from the clubhouse.
Overall course quality was great. Wish I could have finished the nice round I had going.
Hesitant to return..
Solid Game
Consistency a good course. Always enjoy the fairness of the tee shots. A few of the greens are a bit goofy. Worth the drive.

Downhill
This place is going downhill. Greens were chewed up and tee boxes were almost gone .. don’t know how that happens in late April with as much rain as we have had. Place just kinda sucks now
Punching holes in some fairways but did not affect play. Greens were great. Some tee boxes under repair but tees were moved to other boxes so did not affect play. 2 1/2 hour round playing by myself.

Grass finally growing
I’ve played each month, and last 3 were NO grass/ winter dormant. Today it’s finally starting to green up- still needs another 3/4 weeks before I’ll play again, by then all the tee boxes should be open and fairways grown in.
Lost the course
This course has such a great layout, but they have lost it. Tee boxes are hard dirt, greens were punched and not in good shape, fairways had so many dead spots. Played with a member, he said the old grounds keeper left and it’s been terrible ever since.
Do not waste your money
- terrible tee boxes - all dirt
- fairways - extremely patchy mostly dirt
- greens okay - were sanded - wish the staff would have let me know before paying $80 to play
- range was closed
- overbooked - a group of 6 in front of us and a group of 9 behind
