About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Excellent Course
The course is very nice, greens are firm and slick. A lot of ball marks on the greens is the only mishap. Undulating greens can be tricky. Definitely will be back!!

Excellent conditions
Course in best shape ever! The greens were simply fantastic best I've ever seen there. Fairways starting to fill in and a few bunkers have been restored. Very simply the maintenance staff is really doing awesome job...great experience and well worth their standard green fee...if you have never played the Bridges or haven't been up there in awhile...Now is the time!

Great Condition
This course IA always in great shape. The greens are plush and receives the ball well. One of the only courses that can supply 1 cart per golfer.

Amazing is an understatement
I booked a 7am tee time and played in under 3 hours. Course was amazing, greens were perfect! Great layout and 7600 yards from the tips. A MUST play.

Worth the 45 minute trip from Frisco.
They kept the course in great shape during the Pandemic, Including the fairways and tee boxes. the greens were fast and the layout was challenging for a twenty handicapper, but I know the next time around will be better. Hole eighteen was my favorite even though I scored three over par. I was t sure what to expect in Gunter Texas, but it’s a nice little gem hidden out in the country.

Great Course! Worth the Trip
I have heard about the course but never been able to make it out there. It is WELL WORTH the trip. The greens were great and it is a really nice layout. There are a few holes I am excited to play again now knowing what they look like. If you live in DFW and have not played you need to make the trip.

Simply the Best
This is my favorite course in the area. It is always in great shape, which makes for a great round of golf. Should have 6 stars for the rating 5 is not enough.

The Bridges in Gunter, TX
We played on Mother's Day and it was perfect! Beautiful weather and the course was in good shape. There was a lack of grass in some areas that created some tight lies that Momma struggled with, but, overall, it was very good. The facilities were somewhat down, but they were responding to the virus issues and I will not blame them for not being fully open. They did a great job with what they had to deal with!

Course was in perfect condition - weather was near perfect, a little windy - pace of play was great - played from the back tees - had a great time.

Course was in great shape. Driving range was open to warm up. Greens were a little slow, but still we're challenging due to the design. I thoroughly enjoy playing this course.
