About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Hidden gem in north Texas
Played today for the first time,greens and fairways in great condition for late October. Course is fun and challenging, solid amenities, and a great price on Golfnow. Totally worth the drive up from McKinney or even Plano. Will definitely be playing here again. It's links style woven in a neighborhood but the houses are not close enough to the course to distract from the beauty of it. If it's windy like today it is a challenging course from any set of tees.
Open...but challenging
Playing here in the Fall for the first time had it’s advantages...and disadvantages. Placement is key from the tee on many holes no matter what tees you play from. Second shots deserve a careful eye and a solid shot.
Many of the greens rolled easy, with sneaky grades that lets the ball curl into the hole...or away!
Very enjoyable! Having great weather at the end of October also helped!!

Great Course
I've played this course for the 4th time and it was in great shape as usually, The pace of play on the front was outstanding. We got a foursome on #13 on the back and slow us down a little but overall we finished in under 4 hours. The greens and fairways were in great condition. If you pick the right set of tees it can be challenging but still fun.

course conditions
Greens were in pristine condition considering this time of the year. Course overall is in great shape. Sand traps are well maintained.

Worth the Drive
Great course and a super fun layout. Definitely worth the drive. Greens are almost always in great condition. Fantastic pace of play. Pick the proper set of tees because the course can play very long and it's usually windy. My only complaint would be the 18th hole. If you lay up to the end of the fairway on your second shot you are met with a wall of 8ft tall reeds and you can't see the green. You also have to hoist the ball in the air to get in over them. I don't think it's really fair after hitting two good shots. Cut that stuff guys!! Overall I think you must play this one. Super enjoyable.

Not bad if in the area.
Nice country course. No shade anywhere. Overall, very easy. Gorgeous clubhouse, but you don’t play golf for the clubhouse. Group in front of me gave me a hard time about driving cart in restricted areas. They mentioned they were marshalls on the course. I kindly told them that they might want to consider putting signs up, like every other course on the planet. I also told them that I asked the pro shop if there is anything about this course I need to know before playing and they said there wasn’t. They continued to give me a hard time. That left a bad taste in my mouth. This would be a 3 star course in the city, so don’t drive out from Dallas unless you have plans in the area.
Hi, we are sorry that you felt this way during your round the other day. We have a rule in place in order to protect the turf. If there is ever a time where you are unsure of the club rules, please look at your scorecard which states: "Please keep carts on paths within 50 feet of a putting surface or tee and on all par 3’s." We were only reinforcing that rule and apologize it left you with a bad experience.

A very pleasant round
This is a bit of a drive but well worth it.
The staff is very friendly. Both in the clubhouse and on the course.
I'm not a fan of a few of the holes but that's more of an issue with working with the land available.
Go play a round. You won't be disappointed.
