About
Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course is home to an 18-hole Championship Course as well as a nine-hole Executive Course. Both courses were designed by Charles Ankrom across a gently rolling landscape of mature trees and winding lakes. The Executive Course provides great practice before the Championship Course but it is also a great place for beginners to learn the game since it is player-friendly enough to appeal to all ages and skill levels. For more advanced players it provides a quick, enjoyable round that can be played in less than 90 minutes. The layout is a mix of par 3s and par 4s with no par 5s. There are a few strategically placed bunkers but overall the golf course is geared more towards a less experienced player. In addition to the two courses, Boca Raton also offers a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

The lady Starter is rude and mean
The starter hollered at us cause we was about to pull away after we gave her are receipt and are bags was on the golf cart golf shoe on are feet ready to go was not avoiding her , or in that fast of a hurry and she says Loudly! I did say you can go yet! And being really bossy about are friend was in the cart yet! not a good way to start a round We had a 2:49 tee time I payed $21 dollars for the green fee on golf now hot deals to remind you I was prepaid so no reason to hold me there but they was asking $45 dollars at that time for regular rates I played 9 holes, and at the turn ,on my way to 10 ,I stop off for a sandwich but they had to hand make them so I past cause I wanted to finish wich we did the golf course was nice ,but not $45 dollar nice, at all most 3'o'clock but it was not that difficult of a golf course in good condition.
Public Course good experience
Had not played this course since last year,,, and compared to some other courses in the area, found the conditions good and enjoyed the pace. Will play again
Course was in great condition
I played here often years ago. I can't recall the course ever being in such great condition. From tee box to greens including the rough the course was very playable.
Slow play
Play at this course is always slow. Play her assistants who ride around the course do very little to move slow foursomes.
A little rough around the edges
Thank goodness we didn't pay full price to play. Rates drop at noon. Tee boxes are a disaster. The rest of the course is average to fair. Layout isn't bad. Will probably look elsewhere next time. At least the weather was nice!

Really enjoyed this round. Shot my lowest score! Pace of play was a factor through out.

Pretty good shape, very playable. Easy to get to. Busy but pace of play was good.
Great 4 seasonal play
The pace is always good we've played this course a Doz + times. It's NOT a 5 hr round like most of the others. Never had a bad experience may not rate the best BUT they do & try to achieve it
Nice Course In Boca
Played as a single together with 3 other singles. Course was in good shape, staff was friendly. Would play again.

Great course municipal or public. Greens are in good condition. Food is terrible. Overall good experience. Will definately play again.

For some reason the course was empty. Pretty course and great greens.
One of the best city/municipal courses I've ever plaid
Except for a few beaten up tee boxes, this is is the best maintained municipal course that I have ever plaid. Like many courses, they push for a consistent pace of play. But, they end up bothering you every 3 or 4 holes. Tee times are every 10 minutes. Amateurs, especially high handicappers should not be expected to complete every hold in 10 minutes. I believe that not only this course, but most book too many daily times. I am all for a quick pace of play. I am a 10 handicap that plays quickly, but not everyone in a group plays at the same pace.
Excellent value but play the back tees
Great service and excellent value. Started 7:10am and finished 36 holes by 2pm. Course is pretty open so good for all levels of golfers. If you are mid-ten's or lower hcp you need to play the blue or black tees. Replay round was just $15 so a great value. Highly recommended
