Fun and great value
Course was in great condition.
Greens are inconsistent, with some really good, some average.
Really fun layout requires a range of shots, water carries and strategy.
Plenty of water
Always a tricky course as you have to avoid many water hazards . Greens were ok and deceptively quick . Pace of play was good . $60 with cart is about the best you will get nowadays
Pleasantly surprised
I played this course because I could not get a booking at the usual places I play. I played by myself because the other twosome did not appear at my teetime. Two groups let me play through as I progressed through my round, so I was able to finish in 3 hours. I could see it getting backed up on a weekend morning though.
The course is in quite good shape. The greens were quite fast and true. The first thing you notice is there is a lot of water...the name RiverLakes is very appropriate. As long as you avoid the many water hazards, the course is a bit shorter distance compared to others I have played. It is a good course to walk, although the walk from 5 to 6, 8 to 9 and 13 to 14 is a bit longer than the other holes. A couple of par 4s, 1 and 15, are drivable if you hit it long. Doglegs on 7 and 18 are blind tee shots right and left, respectively. Overall, I would play this course again.

Goat track
What a waste of money! Charge full price for cored greens. Bunkers were dirt and mud. I would put it up there with the worst condition course I’ve played to date. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Riverlakes
Greens are great but fairways are rutted out and very uneven.
No definition from Fairways to rough.
A real challenge
Loved this course, needed a break from playing my course so often and this course was a delightful surprise.
It's challenging and rewarding with water lurking everywhere.
Most people using the course used a cart which is unnecessary because it's a brilliant walking track and there's a lot of natural beauty to take in
Enjoyable course, great value
The lack of fancy clubhouse amenities is a blessing as you get a little gem of a course at a great price.
It might well be an easy course IF you hit it down the middle. But as most of us don’t do that, the ever-present water and layup holes are a joy to play.
The course is in pretty good condition, the best I’ve seen it in years
