A real gem
What great value for money compared so called superior gold clubs. Great club house for a feed and drink after the game. The course was in very good nick, but the practice range was usable but under repair. Practice greens very good and true to the course. I found later the chipping greens were in another location. All in all a very enjoyable day and i will return.

Looking for a new club to join
Course was a bit wet but an enjoyable range of 3-5s . Course has a lot of water so could be a lot of lost balls for beginners , but a very good test of accuracy for lower handicap players. The greens were in great condition, and with it being my first time playing this was very pleasing. Good bunker placements around the course to challenge longer hitters as well as test accuracy with approach shots into the green. Staff in pro shop were great and very friendly, did have a slightly weird altercation with a course warden when I moved slightly off the path to let him past, he got quite confrontational , I was only trying not do him a favour. But regardless of that I had a great visit, will come back for sure and am definitely considering emerald lakes as a potential new club to become a member of.

The course is in top condition at the moment, which makes it a pleasure to play! My entire playing group highly recommends trying this course out! I play off a 12 and find this course is a great challenge!
Good course to practice
Flat course, easy to walk.
90 degree rule for cart, so field condition is good.
Will visit more times during my stay at Gold Coast.
Emerald Lakes
An ok course to play, was in much better condition than last visit a couple of years ago after the 2022 rains and had some good challenging holes.
It was a bit chaotic around start time with some (much) confusion about groups and timing. Perhaps marshalling would have prevented the issues. Oh and an unfriendly local who wanted to play by himself. His playing partner chose to join us and we had a pleasant wander around. Bit slow towards end of front nine when we encountered 2 groups on the 8th and 9th tees, but cleared out on back 9.
Range balls were the worst I’ve ever experienced. Looked like a motley collection gathered over many years and from dirty lakes. Some were cut to the core too. Wouldn’t bother with the range next time unfortunately.
Would definitely visit the course again, the bar area was good - beware huge portions - and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and attentive.

Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon 9 Hole game . Would love to come back and play 18.

Great practice facilities, friendly staff, fun layout, good value, recommend for all levels of golfer.
Lovely days golf
Staff are great. Course is very relaxed and is currently in superb condition. Can get busy but seems to flow along quite nicely. Would recommend.
