Great course and great greens
We really enjoyed this course. The greens ran true, you had to think about your shots as there are plenty of bunkers strategically placed in fairways and green side.
We loved the greens, ran really true and fast.
Bar area and kitchen was decent with a nice terrace.
What we didn’t like was
1- being charged 5$ for a towel to shower with.
2- no soap or shampoo in the showers
3- storage lockers not working.
As a first time visitor this was a let down. Especially having to take our travel bag on the course with us.
I would have given 5 stars otherwise.
Disappointed
I have played this course many times. Unfortunately on this occasion it was the worst condition of the course I've encountered. Ot was awful, patches out of the green, rock hard greens, fairways not in great condition. It's like the groundsmen have been on strike
Excellent Course Let Down By My Fellow Players!
An excellent course and layout with friendly efficient staff. I feel slightly guilty marking the course condition down, as this in the main is not the fault of the course staff. There were a HUGE number of unrepaired pitch marks on greens and unraked bunkers despite signs in the carts reminding players of their responsibilities. Not good enough!
The course has great potential
Unfortunately, the course is not at its best, but has great potential. The bunkers are in poor condition with free lift and placement after raking, policy. The greens are quick, small and with challenging pin positions but the state of the grass leaves something to be desired. The public nature of this course means that there are many unrepaired pitch marks and some greens look like they are diseased with patchiness on the grass.
Tough Course
I played the course the day after Monthly medal with my son of 16. I am just getting back in to golf and he is an ok beginner (we would be around 20 and 25 handicap if we had one). The course was well presented and the layout excellent . Still a bit of damage from the floods and tree down here and there but overall very happy. I was really surprised however that divots and pitch marks were not repaired by what would have been mostly members playing Saturday and Sunday morning. This took the gloss of what would have been a great day of golf.
Worthy of top 100 course ranking
Good course layout with hazards to make you think, while being very playable for all levels. Picturesque and well maintained, each hole offers something different. Would recommend for all levels and would keep returning to play here.

Hit off at 1pm and completed the 18th at 5:20pm very slow play not enough time beteew tee times
Post flood conditions, grumpy service
Really surprised that the course was open as it was in such poor condition from recent flooding. Paid for 18holes and only finished 13 as pace of play was so slow and had to wait significant time at every hole. Staff at pro shop unfriendly.
No where to practice before tee off - sent to the bar for a drink instead. Bar staff friendly and helpful.
