Beautiful views of Bantry Bay

Played Bantry Bay Golf Course on a glorious sunny afternoon, and it was an absolute treat. The setting is nothing short of spectacular – sweeping views over the bay greet you on several holes with the front 9 shining through.

From arrival to the 18th green, the staff and members were exceptionally warm and welcoming, adding to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. While the pace of play was on the slower side, it was partly to be expected due to such a lovely day in Ireland where the weather can be very unpredictable.

A memorable round in a stunning location. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful Bantry Bay

While staying in Killarney, I booked this course based on where the weather was best and headed down to give it a try.

I had a wonderful greeting at the desk from a lovely lady named Jane, who gave me tips on how to play the course and find my way around. I was lucky to be paired up with a wonderful gentleman from the area, but it was also his first time playing, so we attacked the course as best as possible.

There are some long par fours, so length is definitely required to reach easily in two.

I did manage to birdie ten and eighteen so that helped with the total score.

They don't have a full-time restaurant, so I was not able to eat after the round. That was my only regret about the course, otherwise it was lovely with marvelous views and weather!
