Great course and lovely layout with some nice water features on the front nine. The conditions of the course is always beautiful with some hard sloping greens on the back nine which I love. Some days I’ve played, there has been a bad backlog of tee times and peoples pace of place can be pretty slow, would love to see it get faster. Overall a great course!.

Quite nice

Had a lovely game on a cloudless, hot 26°C summers day. Greens were in great condition. Fairways were just as good. Enjoyed all the extra par 3's. Enough water to keep you concentrating about ball placement. Shorter, fun course. Overall good day.

Excellent variety of holes.

Much improved course since Lissalen days. Staff particularly welcoming and helpful. Played was incredibly slow. 4 hours and 10 min for 14 holes! We gave up after 14 because it was even busier ahead ( 1/15 to 4/18 - there are only 14 holes ). We were warned about the slow play on the day before start. I presume it was particularly busy because of the unusually summer weather at last.

It's busy because it is popular. I can understand why.

Definitely worth a visit!

Clon’ course

This a little gem for those who want an enjoyable, interesting challenge in beautiful surroundings. This was such a fantastic place to place 14 holes at a decent pace with no one holding me up, it felt like I was the only one playing. There was a lovely welcome for a first time player and a few tips to help me out along the way. It’s a fairly short course but tricky and narrow in parts. If you are in the area I highly recommend playing Clon’!

A little gem in west cork.

This was my second time playing this wonderful course. When a lot of other courses are closed Clon was open. Thinking it was going to be a plugged golf ball day it was quite the opposite. Arriving there there felt like being at my own club. We teed off fairways where in great condition and the green are slightly slow but just the way I prefer them. For the price of it is well worth the value for golf. Can’t wait to play again over the summer , so magnificent holes like the 1st, 3rd 4th , 8th and many more.

All in all a great club with great people and a great course design

Great Course - poor mapping

This course has loads of potential to be one of the best courses in Munster. However the GPS mapping of this course is not updated and currently the course only has 14 holes. There is plans to get it to a full 18 hole course, in the future.
