Boca Delray Golf & Country Club
About
Boca Delray Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole executive course designed by Karl Litten, a familiar name in south Florida golf. The club is located in a gated retirement community. At 3,071 yards from the longest tees, the golf course is a sporty round that offers plenty of short game practice. The greens and fairways are consistently well manicured, which is one of the reason why it is a practice site for Lynn University's men's and women's golf teams. It is player friendly but also versatile enough for low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Boca Delray also offers five tennis courts, two of which are lighted, a swimming complex with two pools, and a fitness center.

Best Executive Course Around
It was the best executive course in the Boca/Delay area. Very good condition. Short holes but challenging with lots of water and sharp dog legs. Pace of play was fast. Excellent buys on clothing in the pro shop. Management was most friendly and helpful.
Fun course Nice people
Greens in good chape. We played (2 players) in 2 hours. Very nice people at Pro Shop and guard at entrance. We will go bac with pleasure.
Great experience
I was a little annoyed with myself when I realized I booked a tee time at an executive course. However, I had a very enjoyable round and actually went around again immediately. I'm not sure if this is typical but I was able to play 36 in under 4 hours and this was on a Friday afternoon. It is a great place to work on your irons. I used my driver just once on each 18. Greens, fairways, and bunkers all in great shape.
The staff were super. Very friendly and helpful to someone who had never played there.
Lots and lots of water!!
Great staff and beautiful course. Glad I read the reviews before I went regarding all of the water. My husband sent me with 16 extra balls and my golfing buddy and I lost every one of them. We won't be back soon until our game gets better! I highly recommend this to good golfers who want to be forced to work on their short game!! The staff were wonderful and gently let us know what we were in for!
Great round!
A really nice coarse , a lot of water..... Friendly staff , we arrived a little early let us play .
Quick round 2 1/2 hours. Would definitely go back.

Two Regulars and a Newbee
The course is in good shape. A fair play for an executive course. Water, Water everywhere, that will test your short game.
Great Layout
This was my first round and I was pleasantly surprised. It is nestled in a charming gated community and although an executive course, the layout with forced water carries on 10 of the holes and the tricky Par 4's make it challenging. Bring extra balls! Greens were in great shape.
Wonderful
First time there and the staff was very friendly. I noticed they were very friendly to all who came there. Course is great for iron play and younger kids learning club distance.
Great little par 60
If you want to sharpen your short game and enjoy the abundant wildlife this is the place for you.Staff is very friendly and the course is fun to play. I saw many ducks, geese, swans and at least 100 iguana's. The carts are equipped with a nice a/c gadget and ice water with cups are provided at no cost, a big help with the heat of s. Fla. If you like to use your driver this is not the course for you. I'll be back again.
What's Not to Like???
Excellent Short Course with Improving Conditions. Greens were in excellent off-season condition. Lots of tee box work being done right now. I expect outstanding overall on-season conditions. This is a fabulous course to sharpen up your short game. A very nice layout will challenge you to make shots down narrower fairways and onto smaller greens. Control and placement are rewarded over distance. Big hitters can leave the driver and woods at home. Having a slower swing speed myself I am able to play most of the clubs in my bag at some point. The course will test your wedge work, chipping, and putting. Multiple forced water carries but all very manageable with proper setup and planning. Beautiful wildlife including Swans, various Geese, a variety of Ducks, and lots of Bright Green Lizards! Very enjoyable. I got around by myself today in just over 2 and a quarter hours.
hidden jewel
short but requires accuracy and course management lots of water
It could be better
A pleasant executive course, some interesting holes. It all comes down to the quality of maintenance and unfortunately this course falls significantly short. The greens were spotty at best.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!
A real gem, a real test.
A great course and a great challenge. Don't let the fact that this is an executive course fool you into thinking that you're just going to go out there and par a bunch of these holes because they are short. This is a great place to sharpen your wedge and short game, the greens are small and most of them have a fair amount of slope as well. In addition, not only are most of the holes are landing areas pretty narrow, but there is water in play on 12 of the 18 holes. That being said I really enjoyed this course, from the start the staff was extremely friendly and the course was in excellent condition from tee to green, in addition to being beautiful there was a lot of wildlife around despite the number of homes there. While there may be only 1 or 2 holes where you can use your driver this place is a true executive course. Not just a short course, but a short and very challenging course, the way executive courses were meant to be designed. 5 stars all the way around. I will be back.
perfect
very nice course, short time to play
A Great Course
For an executive course, this is a great golf course. It has many challenges and is exciting to play because of the layout of the holes and the presence of water. The staff is friendly and helpful. The course is in great shape and it is a pleasure to come here to play a round of golf.
Lots of water
We didn't realize it was an executive. In a community - lots of water to hit over - it was interesting and a change but I would not do it again.
2 stars shouldn't be given because of your golf game not being good. the rating should be based on the course. If you don't like water then don't hit in it.
