A good round of golf
Pleasant staff and good course for a mid-handicap golfer.
Solid
Course was in great shape. Very cheap for the quality. Cant beat it for December golf.
Gamblers in good shape during the break in the weather!
Decided to get out and play during a break in the cold snap. No leaves to contend with, Tee Boxes, Fairways and Greens all clear. Great job by the Greenskeepers! Also the work on the access road from I-195 is complete, another great job, makes it easier and safer to get there. Gamblers should be your Winter go-to course barring snowfall. Big, cozy bar and attentive personnel in the pro shop and pub seal the deal.

The golf carts are is very bad shape,and looks like they are not washed. There was coffee and ashes spilled all over the dash an front area. I have been there a couple times and no attention is paid to the carts. As for the course, the greens should be blown off so you can putt. And someone should enforce a fix your ball mark rule or at least make it know that you would like players to be mindfull.

So many issues, some easy to fix, some not
Where do I begin? Tee Boxes are horrible! Most of them are basically Muddy areas with some green specs. Fariways and light rough were covered in leaves. They started blowing them off at 2PM! Greens are mostly diseased and horrific for putting. Any putt outside of 3 feet will randomly go left or right over unrepaired ball marks, and at least 3 to four different colors of "green" There were weeds growing on some of the greens. It will be along time before I return. Staff as always a pleasure.

Gambler Ridge GC
Cool overcast day did not keep the golfers away. Fairways were clear but the rough was extra hard do to leaves.
Fun course to play on for a 12-20+ Handicap.

Course was in good shape for end of October. Some waiting on tees until staff managed to get things moving
