Fun and challenging
Most shots you can’t see, which makes it really fun. Course is in great shape, and pace of play is perfect.

Quality for value
Fun layout. Challenging yet fair. Many fun interesting holes. Greens quick and roll nice. Pace rarely a problem. Great course for a muni. Drains well during rainy days.

Good course
Good ball strikers course, a few blind tee shots that you need to see a couple times. Course was in decent shape, club house is a shack.

Great Experience - Great Staff
The staff, all the staff, couldn't have been any nicer. Course was in good shape and we played (twosome) on a Sunday morning in less then 4 hours.
These are the rounds you enjoy and want to come back an play again.
Also lost a head cover that was a gift from my daughter and they found it for me.

Frozen holes
while the green fees were only $ 34 with a cart..every hole was frozen!! the holes were fill with a block of ice. flags could not be removed. You were putting to blocks of ice!? Why couldnt green keepers have melted ice? simple propane torch.

Wet and Cart Path Only
Course was still very wet. They did not advertise that it was cart path only. Someone needs to work on the drainage for this course.....

GPS carts and friendly staff
The track is challenging. Tons of hills and valleys to hit at and through. Greens were in B condition. The course is windy and there are multiple hole crossings. Staff is super nice. Bunch of regulars seems to play here. The gps was a plus for first timer here!

Good Conditions
Course conditions were very good. Greens roll pretty good for a public course, although there are pitch marks everywhere. I really don't understand why people don't repair them, but High Bridge certainly isn't alone in facing this issue.
I was a bit disappointed that the 17th hole is now a par 4, making the course a par 70. That was always a good hole as a par 5 and now a very tough par 4 for the average player.
High Bridge is always a good local option. Fair price, good conditions.
Pick the right tee's
This course plays tougher than the yardage indicates. Check the slope rating, one of the highest around.
Conditions were great throughout. Don't hit it in the long stuff.
A good reminder of the Tee it Forward initiative of the USGA... play what tee is appropriate for your ability! Thank you for playing with us.
Almost Perfect, then we had to putt..
You could not read or putt these greens on Friday.Slick and unreadable, other then that it was a perfect day.
Course was in great shape.
ALWAYS A GOOD DAY AT HIGH BRIDGE
course was in really good shape especially for April in the northeast. greens were rolling fast and pure. reasonable restaurant with plenty of selection. my only hope is someday they can figure out how to go back to a par 5 on #17. i get why the locals love their course.
