Nice scenic Golf Course
The day we played it was cart path only, so we did a lot of walking. Very hilly and a lot of Blind shots. Grass was thick and deep with fescues along the sides, lost 1/2 dozen balls and I wasn't the only one. I recommend this course but will say if you play it bring balls. It is a Very Nice Scenic Course, and the Staff are Friendly.
Great Course
Started out not so great as there was no starter to be found, therefore no one to give me a cart key which caused a slight delay which caused an altercation on the 1st tee box. Once that was settled, everything was perfect. Pace, course conditions and weather. Bring your straight game because if you don't hit the fairways you will be punished. Rough is lush and consistent but, as it should be, penalizing. I will be back!
Keeper course
Course is in top notch condition. Primary rough is penalizing which is how it should be. Fescue and high native grasses are best played to just get your ball back in play. Trying to do too much from there WILL result in a big number. Greens are true and very puttable. I'll definitely be back!
Cart Path Only after previous showers
Cart Path Only after previous night showers was unnecessary aa 95% of the fairways were firm to rock hard
Tough course
First time playing, nice course, tough greens. Some green a little rough but probably from the spring aerating. We’ll see in a month or so. Will play again.
2024 Springtime Golf
I've enjoyed playing High Bride Hills but they have gotten pretty expensive. When I saw a deal on Tee Off I jumped on it. The course was a little wet from all the rain we've been having but in more than playable shape. The course is still coming out of winter hibernation but the greens were rolling pretty well. They greens weren't aerated so I expect this is coming in the next week or so. The course's main defense is the Fescue that lines the fairways. The grass is still short so if you spray it around, now is the time to come out to play!
Great course
This is a great challenging course. It was cart pathonly but I understand we have had a lot of rain and they want to save the course for the rest of the season. Highly recommend.
Great course. My go to when I can’t play at my home course
Thank you for choosing us when you play away! Glad to hear you had an enjoyable round!
Late February
A bonus day and a bonus course. Greens were great for February. Fun course with many types of holes. Par 3s challenging. And some really beautiful holes
Will be back
It well priced for off season
Course is average. pricing is high for off-season rates. Pace of play is not good, because people ahead of your group take too much time.
Thank you for playing with us... We're sorry to hear your round wasn't more enjoyable! You may have caught us on one of those warm winter days where everybody wants to get outside... We hope you give us another try soon! Please reach out to the manager if you'd like to give us another shot...
Good course design - terrible management
Played on a Saturday morning in late January - bluebird day with temperatures in the high 40s. I was part of a 3 person group and we were maybe the 3rd group out for the day teeing off at 830AM. We got stuck behind a group of 4 that spent more time talking than playing golf. Every golf cart comes with a list of course rules - among those rules is the pace of play written in BOLD - 4 hours 15 minutes pace. On the scorecard it states that if a group whose pace of play causes an empty hole in front of them that they should either pick up their ball and move to the next hole or stop play to allow the group behind them to play through. None of this happened and caused our round to exceed 5.5 hours. There was no ranger managing pace of play. Among other things, portions of the course were so water logged that the ball would sink into the grass upon landing and would be unplayable resulting in the player to pick the ball out of the ground and place it on firmer ground to take a shot. We paid $90 per person to play, there was no food available during our play, realistically it was more of a $40 round with conditions and amenities available.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience with us, and I tried to contact you to discuss. The staff worked hard to get the course open after the snow thawed, and that was the first day we were able to open. We encourage groups to give a call into the Golf Shop if they ever need assistance on the course. Hopefully we will see you again at the club! Please give the manager a call for another try...
