About
Dunedin Golf Club was carved out of citrus groves and was the PGA National Golf Course until 1962. The golf course itself is delightful. From elevation changes to a river that bisects the course, you can just feel the aura of the great golfers who have played here. Bobby Jones, Gene Saraze, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Paul Runyan to name a few have participated in tournaments here. Dunedin Country Club is located in Dunedin, minutes from the beaches, many restaurants and several top hotel options. Dunedin Golf Club is a Donald Ross creation.

Donald Ross course you can play
Great layout.Plays longer the yardage so add more club. Greens are vintage Ross greens and they repel poor shots.
Can't go wrong, mostly!
This is such a solid track. All you can eat. Rarely in bad shape though it can get a little soggy especially on the back nine. While I've never ate there I hear the restaurant is pretty solid and reasonably priced.
Worthy of a membership if your into that kind of thing.
Amazing course with amazing history
If you love history, then this course delivers it with an great challenge for any level of golfer. Friendly staff and nice people all around the course. I am not a good golfer but felt comfortable Playing with members.
One of the best in the area
Dunedin never disappoints. I could play every week. Staff is great, course conditions are great and the layout is very different than most courses in the area.
Play it Again Sam
Been awhile since I have played here. Much
attention has been addressed to the course
and it’s nice to see it coming back to its
once great tradition.
Pace of play
The course has a nice layout and is in decent condition. We had a foursome on a relatively slow day. The carts have a digital readout for yardage. It also give you a pace of play. The cart said we were 10 minutes ahead of pace when the marshal approach our group stating we needed to speed up. He then proceeded to follow us for several holes. This caused tension which only exacerbated the situation.
We never fell behind the carts “pace of play” through the entire round. After finishing the round one of the cart attendants tried to rush us out of the parking lot.
The marshal also made some disparaging remarks during our round regarding one of our groups skill level. While we are not scratch golfer we are not so bad that his comments were warranted or appreciated.

Dunedin never disappoints. Period. Starter and clubhouse guy are great. Saw the cart girl Ramona 4 times. Good and wait staff are great. Always one of my go to courses.
