Wonderful day on a beautiful course.
I was visiting from out of town and decided to play here being a clubcorp member. Course was in excellent shape, tee to green. Course was no too tight either which I appreciated not being a single digit. Staff was great. Very friendly cart guys and shop. I was very lucky in the group they had me join, fantastic group of friends that could not be more hospitable. That always makes for a good day. Will make it a point to play here again next time I am in the area.
A very fair test of shot selection
I got the opportunity to play this private track on the first of July and might I say I was very pleased with everything from the layout to course conditions. The layout reminded me of what others would dub "old school Florida Golf." Palm trees could be found littered throughout the course, intermixed with large, mature oak trees draped in Spanish Moss. Although lakes are present they seem to only subtly come into play and aren't so in your face. I felt as though this course boasted some of the most difficult par 5s I have played. They had a lot of twists and turns and required you to play target golf to score well on them. I cannot wait for my chance to get revenge on some the holes out there.
