About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Great Course but Slow Psce - No Ranger
Ok it’s very basic . The course is gray but the course refuses to have a “Real Ranger “ the pace of play is Slow!!!!

Things are looking up
Long gone are the days of mild winters on Long Island. So golf courses here take a beating from November to March. Even if we get a 50° day or 3, the amount of time courses are covered in snow or ice makes them a little rough when it starts to warm up in April. Willow Creek is already turning this course around from the winter we had. In a few weeks this will be the gem it always is. Fairways are in great shape and the greens aren’t pimpled with ball marks like at the several municipal courses because people who play here actually care about conditions. Once the rough wakes up it will be go time.

One of the best
Willow Creek is one of my favorite courses on the island. For a public course it really doesn’t get any better. Excellent layout, very good conditions and a country club feel. Would definitely recommend

My favorite course
Enjoyed a quick 3 1/2 hour round. Bob the starter was a terrific guy and let us know we could start before our tee off time. Love the course and requires strategic placing of shots. Only issue was the restrooms were locked

winter golf
good value for golf in Febuary in New York. A little cold a little wet but all in all a good day

cold and windy
Very nice course, drains well. Water on many holes makes playing a little like target golf but on long holes difficult. Beautiful course in summer.Would recommend

Course Needs a ranger .... 2nd time people have jumped a hole and slow played . ... over all love the place ..

The day was cold but no wind. Overall a good day
for golf in the Northeast for January. Course was in good shape considering the amount of rain received on the prior day.
