Good Course, but...
The course itself was great. That being said, you can't bring a ride-along unless you pay an additional greens fee due to "insurance purposes." I heard a staff member talking about how a dude took his baby out on course, but I can't take my adult girlfriend, cause of insurance?? Yeah right. Also, you have to pay 10 bucks for a small bucket of range balls AND you have to pay for range tees for the mats, WHAT??? And the kicker, the snack/beverage cart only takes cash. For almost $100, not worth it. I'll play somewhere for half that which has everything else this place doesn't.
Great place to play
Great links layout and lots of challenges. Some pin positions were a little tough/unfair and some bunkers were loaded with stones and rocks, but most of the course was excellent and well maintained. Enjoyable and pace of play was not bad at all - 4:15 for a weekday is great.
Recent aeration
The greens were running bumpy and slow. It appears a recent aeration was done which we were not aware of. But it is a nice course.
Conditions are getting worse
Carts paths are horrible, our bags fell off our carts they were so bad! Some greens need repairs, bunkers are full of stones. Tee boxes are horrendous! No ball washers! Paying a lot of money on a weekend for these conditions is ridiculous!
Aeration
We played back nine twice because of aeration. No one informed us prior to our booking.
Very good
It was a really fun time.
The grass was in good condition, and more than anything, the bunkers were in the best condition I've been to in a while.
Spring golf
$93 for a course that is just showing signs of getting into shape for the season is a bit steep IMO. $50-$60 is more in line with time of year and condition this time of year. However like every other business these days they can charge whatever they want because they know people are going to pay it. Sad!!!!
