The Woods
Course was in great shape. Fairways, greens, and tee boxes. Always seems to be windy out there which makes hitting the fairways difficult and important. If you are in the trees it ours almost always an extra stroke just to punch out. Challenging.

I Recommend This Course
Challenging layout- need your A game
Tight fairways throughout the course, so you have to hit all your shot dead on straight every time- no room for error. This will be a challenge for beginners and intermediate golfers. Grass not grown in yet, so balls were rolling. Greens in great condition. New sand in traps. Great clubhouse and restaurant.
Special note: bald eagles seen on tall pines off hole #12, not sure if they have a nest but cool to see them for sure as they are rarely seen on Long Island.
