Cherry Creek - The Woods Course

Wasn’t informed by app that the course was aerated. Narrow fairways but seems like it is a really good course when the fairways and greens are actually playable. Shouldn’t have sold at full price without warning. App not pro shop.

Havent been here in a few years and played it last Saturday. Always had the idea in my head that its very tight and if you are not accurate off the tee it can be a tough time. Backed it up once when I wasnt at my best and remembered I had to punch out sideways back into the fairway like 8 times.

Had a last minute addition so this was one of the few tee times I could get day before. Everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed the round. Still trees everywhere and we had our moments but it was a fun challenge and it makes you focus on the tee box more than any other course. Greens were punched which is my only complaint (whatre ya gonna do its fall golf in NY) but were green and still rolled great. Tee boxes and fairways were green and prob the best late season shape of the courses ive played recently.

Will definitely try to squeeze one more round out of The Woods before the season is out and maybe put it back in the rotation for next year.

I was told the fairways were very narrow to leave your driver in your bag but that was an understatement. Of course I used my driver a few times sometimes good sometimes not so good lol. I loved the course it’s very challenging and you really can’t just grip it & rip it you have to play smart & navigate yourself thru each hole.The greens were very fast and challenging as well. I can’t wait to play the Woods again.

very well maintained course. the long narrow par 4 & 5s provide a good challenge as well as the hazards surrounding the par 3s. I'm still a novice golfer but still had a lot of fun challenging myself here. Staff couldn't have been friendlier to an out of towner such as myself.

Staff was friendly teed off at 2:00 played 3 holes in an hour. An hour later gave up on the 5th hole averaging 15 mins in between shots? Someone has to control the pace

Hard to play when the rough is so deep. It’s bad enough to lose balls in the woods, but when you can’t find them in the rough, you really waste time. However, even keeping up with play, it took 5 hours to finish the game. People cutting ahead and, slowing play by joining other players didn’t help.
