The woods
Very nice course. The starter was extremely friendly. They let us out a little early. Would probably not play there unless there was some kind of golf now deal
Nice course, accuracy needed
Course especially fairway and rough in good shape. Greens pretty smooth considering they were aerated not long ago. Bunkers pretty rocky but for the money was quite nice. Shop was friendly and I played very quickly. Narrow course that puts a premium on accuracy. Back nine is better than the front but a solid 4/5 course
One of the Best allnarounf Long Island Courses
This is a gem that is located in Riverhead.
It's sister Course is Cherry Creek Links located across the street.
I personally enjoy the challenge that the Woods presents. You must be accurate on your tee shots, if not you will have a long day.
The staff is always friendly. The course is always in great condition.
The restaurant is a must. Great food is always served!
Highly disappointed
I have played this course many times in the past and was never disappointed. I understand that greens need to be aerated but I would like a warning that they have been aerated. Also it seems like there was more sand on the greens than there was in the traps. This totally ruined my round... I would give it a while before I recommend this course.
Brutal
This is a beautiful course but if you come to play it you must have your A game. Very tight course tree-lined Fairways small greens you have to be hitting the ball straight as an arrow on every hole unforgiving punishing course beautiful course but in my eyes one of the toughest on Long Island
Nice round at the Woods
Enjoyed round with my Son - v nice course. 7:28 tee time and no waiting and (thankfully) didn't hold up anyone behind either. One issue would be to call & talk to course as Junior rate was avail and not able to access as I'd booked via a golf app...
some challenges, fairways and greens were perfect
would definitely recommend and will play again soon
Nice course has water hazzards but narrow
always enjoy the course when I pay $35 or less including a cart. conditions were not as good as last year 2016 but not bad about three stars out of five, the course is at least three and half star
Narrow fairways.
Very nice course but if you can't drive straight it's going to be a long day. Any move movement on the ball left or right is going to end up in the woods.

Always a good course to play. Greens improved from earlier in the year but could be better. lazy people should fix their ball marks. friendly staff

Everything was fine except the greens are diseased. Hope they come back soon probably won't play there until they do

had a great day there.partnered up with another guy and had a very good round and fell in love with the cart girl,great personality.will play there again. just hope they can fix the greens seems to have a fungus.
