Great Starter Course, Too Much Geese
Liberty Forge is a good course. This was my first 18 holes I did and only lost 7 balls, 4 of those on hole 18 because I’m stubborn and wanted to clear the ponds. It’s a great course if you’re just starting out, however, beware of goose poop. It’s EVERYWHERE as of currently writing this. Watch your step! A lot of divots are also not replaced and the tee offs have a ton of spots completely barren. For the price, it’s a fair trade. I will come back but it would not be my first choice.
Hot to trot
Great short course, kept up really well. Going to play this course much more in the future. Great course to work on your short game.
Good Value
The course is in great shape for the price. There are a lot of par 3s but also there are a lot of par 3s so shooting par here makes it not too easy depending on your short skills. Will play again
It’s a good place to take young kids. Play was extremely slow. No reason it should take 4 hours to play this course. Bar/snack area was extremely slow with getting drinks and a hot dog.
Disrespectful staff
The greens were a mess and I was angrily yelled at by a person cutting the grass and when I complained at the desk I was met with a blank stare. I won't be playing there again.
Rude employees
I had greens keeper yell at me to move on even though there were two groups ahead of me preventing me from moving on. I complained to the management and got nothing but a blank stare. The greens were atrocious and the pace of play was at a crawl. I won’t play there again. There are a lot of courses in the area that treat their golfers with respect and deserve my patronage.
