We quit as a foursome after 13 holes 2hours and 20 minutes slow play ruins your game and for what they are charging they have to fix that. it’s been like that for a long time have to push the members to move if they don’t like it tough all good courses have a time limit four and half five hours is unacceptable

One shot every 10 times. The course was overbooked. Three groups one one hole. The worst I ever experienced.

Too slow
Ok course if you get a deal price. One hour to play the first 3 holes implies a 6 hour round. Foursome in front of us was at least 2 holes behind, but no rangers to speed them up. Moved faster on back nine, but 5 hours on a short course is intolerable.

Play early
Overbooked tee times, so allow extra time for not starting at your appointed tee time. Then figure a 4 1/2 -5 hour round as you wait,and wait, your way around the course.
We had a 1:24 tee time and finished after sunset, with every group behind us who’d also spent over $100 to play, not getting finished!

Pace of play was ridiculously slow. Tee off time was 30 minutes behind schedule. 6 hours and still didn’t finish

Character of front nine was plain but conditions were good greens rolled good tee box good and fairways in good condition couldn’t play back nine because pace of play was too slow and I would up being a single and starters didn’t offer a solution rather than going back to the front with I finished in an hour
Too bad I couldn’t play the back!

My apologises as I typed the incorrect course name but the reast of the comment stands. Provided the reviewers times were not typed in correctly. Sorry San Carlos Golf Club.
I think you typed incorrectly, and if not, your math is poor. How can an 1 hour 5 minute pace for 6 holes be slow play. Given 10 minutes for your 13th hole played. You should have finish the remaining 5 holes in less than an hour. That's well under your 4.5 - 5 hour time for slow play. You should possibly be changing your review. Not only is it not appreciated by others relying on reviews, but it's harsh for a golf course trying to accommodate all golfers with respect. You should apologise to Panther Run!
