San Carlos Golf Club

Initially upon getting to this course it was a great sight, not many people and an eager staff. My group and I get some practice putts in and the starter comes out and tells us to start on Hole 10. We begin, back nine was in good condition. Good pace of play, as they didn’t have many people out yet. We finish our first nine and take the turn, just to arrive at a line of 3 other groups ahead of us, all teeing off hole 1. We jump in line and the starter comes up and says “oh you are playing 18? No one told me that. I’ll have to fit you in.” And then drives away. Never heard from him again. The rest of the day was just waiting, hit my shot, wait another 20 minutes. It got really fast once you got to the parking lot, hopefully this management changes the gaps between tee times. 7 minutes isn’t enough for the people that play at the course.

The course is in decent shape. Pace of play is good. Had to quit early because of rain.

Course was in great shape except greens were a little bumpy and sandy because of recent Aeration but overall great condition

First of all the people that work there were extremely nice and helpful.

Course is in good shape and a nice layout. Pay attention to the gps to avoid surprises

Only issue was that it played slower than we’d like but we and we were only a twosome.

Definitely will play there again.

Course in pretty good condition, but the pace of play is the worst in SWFL!!

San Carlos was in great shape. The greens aren't very fast but they're rolling very true and pure. Staff was very nice and helpful. A great round and we'll be back several more times this Summer.

I booked as a single, so expected to get paired with a two or threesome. At tee time it was apparent they had no one to put me with. Finally, they put me with three young guys… After 40 minutes we had played two holes. Hole three was empty and backed up behind, of course. Ruining the round for EVERYONE on the course. What can you do when people are completely oblivious to how inconsiderate they are?

I quit. Wasted money and weekend of golf. Thanks.

Minmun slow play. Rainy ended my day. As always staff was very helpful.
