San Carlos Golf Club

Had A great time .Course is fun to play. foursum in front of us was slow.we passed them on the turn to back 9 then play picked up.

This was an outstanding value in SWF this time of year. We played in 4:20, which is pretty standard for this time of year. Greens were awesome and the practice area was great. If you can complain about this course for the price, let me know where it’s better.

Friendly accommodating staff. Ice/water stations at clubhouse, and on couse at restrooms. Two on the front and two on the back nine. Greens are at about 80%,but getting better. Fairways and tees have plenty of grass. Pace can be slow at times, but active Ranger/Marshall keeps pace going pretty smoothly. I've played about 10 to 12 times in last 6 months. Plenty of challenges with blue/white/gold/red/green tees, dog leg par 4s and 5s, long par 3 (over 200 yards from blue and white tee).

Is always a pleasure at san Carlos. Staff most friendly. Never a complaint. Last time we had visitors in front of use. They could have used a little Golf Etiquette..

Course was in great shape including the greens. Slow play is rampant at this course though. 4 some in front playing a scramble taking twice as long as regular golf..

Greens all have dead spots, fairways as thin as u could imagine. $100 for green fee and after 9 holes I started bumping the ball. So many better courses around the area for close to the same money. I’d skip this place

Tee boxes and fairways were good as well as the green fringes. The greens were a little fuzzy and showed wear and tear but rolled prettty true. I had a great day though.

3:07 T time & didn't even have a cart at that time! Wasted time waiting! actual t time of 3:27 Course was so backed up 1/2 hour wait at 1 hole to T off! Finished 9 at 6:15. Fool us once for paying for 18 at 3:07 on Golf Now! The only plus was meeting 2 great players from Naples & Ft Meyers. Wont be back

If you find a deal, this is a pleasant course to play.

We had a 2:45 tee which should have brought us in with a full 18. However, there was a very slow 4some in front with a two or three hole gap when the lights went out. To bad because we wanted to finish of course. The course is in good shape and fun to play.
