A grown man asking me what was in my very small cooler unnecessary

I enjoy San Carlos GC. However at their regular pricing the course conditions are not on par with the pricing. All of SW Florida is substantially over priced during the winter months. Because of the huge amount of snowbirds and vacationers they charge outrageous prices for lesser quality then you would see in many other parts of Florida or the US. But all the courses down here do the same thing.

The course was in excellent shape. The layout even on the toughest holes are not designed to make you want to walk off the course in frustration. A lot of sand makes up for a relative lack of water. Overall, well worth it.

I really enjoyed playing this course! From the course layout to the staff, it was a great experience. I booked it through Golf Now, so the price was definitely worth it, and booked another through the app for tomorrow.. Greens and fairways were in great shape

Very satisfied with the conditioning of San Carlos compared to a few years ago. Course is very playable with wide fairways and not a lot of water, though well bunkered. Worth a visit these days !!

Play is generally slow this time of year ( in Season) and they really need a ranger on the course to move slow play or at least ask people to pick up the pace. If they have a ranger then they are not active in the afternoons as this is when I’ve played there and it’s generally a slow pace of play in the afternoons unfortunately

Second time playing and was hoping for another great round….. but 6 sets of rental clubs and a bachelor party of 12 scramble in front of us turned into a 5 plus hour bummer of a round. With no ranger in sight these guys took forever, had no clue of golf etiquette, picked up or played balls from other fairways including mine in the center of our fairway…. It really made for a long afternoon! I’m all for having fun with buds but this was about as bad as one could expect…. Including yelling at us when we asked them to return our ball they grabbed from our fairway after their cart shut down for being to close to the green. An active ranger could have easily seen the crazy!

Poor pace of play. Implementing double par on every hole is crucial. Watching 3 individuals tee off 3 seperating times, and each time the ball being "duffed," "hozzle rocketed," "bladed," is very unsatisfying as they hold up the group behind them playing at normal pace.

Played San Carlos Golf Club today very friendly staff, from the bag drop guys to Pro Shop to starter. Course was in good shape even with the lack of rain. Pace of play could have been a little faster but overall a good day. Good value for the $

Great condition, nice greens, a couple of par 4s on the front are little too long but overall a great layout
