Terrible Pace No Rangers
I booked a 1:40 last minute tee time for my birthday and got to the course at 1:37. Fortunately, I wasn’t late because they were running behind. Unfortunately they were over 45 minutes behind and I paid for 18 holes and wasn’t able to complete the 15th before the sun set. Course was in okay shape. Staff all pointed fingers when it came to why it was ran so poorly. Will not play here again during “season,” if ever.

Not public friendly
The course is very plain. No water. Minimal landscaping. We were verbally assaulted by a member who inaccurately accused us of playing slow. He screamed profanities at our group from afar. Totally untrue as we were keeping pace. We will go elsewhere next time.

Too much for very little
They do not police the course for the amount they charge there should be rangers policing the course. Groups two holes behind pace. 3 hours for 9 holes. Won’t return to the vourse. Strongly advise you leave 6 hours for a round out here.

Played this course several times. It's ok, not great, but reasonably priced for this area. not many hazards. They were running 1/2 hour late to tee times and said there was frost, but not sure that is true.

Once again, very satisfied with San Carlos. Played last week, very satisfied, however this week a ranger could have helped the pace of play. We still got our round in before dark. Must be a popular place as the parking lot was packed , had to wait for someone to leave….. but thats a good problem!

What a difference a year makes, better fairways, and tees, fair rough, good sand and raked, cart paths in better shape, greens always been good, staff was exceptionally friendly . Definitely play again
