Good value
Course is in good condition. Slow play behind weekly league groups but still moved adequately. Price for what you get here is solid compared to prices in the region.
Tee times were packed
We had an 11:45 tee time but there were 3 groups that had not teed off by then. Got off at 12:15. Waited in every hole because so many people were crammed in to play without proper spacing.

Greens were very rough and only February 1. I wouldn’t want to see them in April.

Challenging but fair
This course is tucked away in older commercial/residential area. San Carlos is well maintained with a moderately challenging design. Greens do present a challenge as they dont run quickly.. Good value at $60 to $70.

A Nice, Easy Track
I like San Carlos: it's a playable course without much water (so also without a lot of challenge), so it's great for a nice, easy afternoon round, which is what we had. It was in so-so shape when we played: the greens were so hard that there were only a handful of ball marks to repair during the entire round ... and there were some puzzling reads: for one of the few times in my long golfing career, I actually experienced a ball break uphill toward and then away from the cup - ?!? This being said, the on-course refreshment service was (frequent and) excellent and the track was enjoyable, so it was a nice experience. If you're looking to be challenged, this isn't your track. If you're looking for a nice round with friends or new ones to whom you're introduced in a foursome, it's a great option.

NICE COURSE in RUN DOWN AREA
Decent course,well cared for, not real challenging but the worst part is the run down neighborhood that it's in, not their fault

The layout, greens and fairways are ok. Traps are very nice. Friendly staff and reasonably priced snack bar items.
The course was crowded, so play was slow. Advertised green fees are not worth the course conditions but getting a GN deal makes them more acceptable.

Pleasant Surprise
Course in great condition from Tee to Green. Marshals on course to keep pace of play. Long Par 3’s make up for low slope rating. Will definitely be playing again..
