Saturday Morning League Play
I am wondering why a 16-person league of relatively immobile geriatrics was slotted in four groups starting at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. It seems like league play for presumably retired individuals would be better suited for a weekday and not a prime time during the weekend. I have played this course 40-50 times over the past five years with an average round about 2.5-3.0 hours (summer and fall seasons). Saturday's round clocked in at a sultry 4.25 hours and is wholly the result of the league players clogging the course. I believe I understand that nobody wants to discourage participation from 16 playing customers, but for the working guy that wants a reasonable weekend outing it seems like you might be encouraging them to select a different course. I'm guessing the issues hasn't been given much prior thought and that there's opportunities to explore that would expand both league play and weekend warrior revenue.
Superb venue, great staff
This is a great course! The layout is well conceived without any quirky holes. The staff are all very friendly & knowledgeable. The pro staff & other staff on the course are all excellent. When I played it this week it was undergoing major improvements but this is a temporary anomaly.

Terrible shape
At least 1/2 of the holes were under construction with workers standing on or next to the greens. The place should be closed until updates are made because it’s a bad experience in current shape. Homes surrounding the area are run down so not a place to play if you’re looking for a nice surroundings. I do not recommend this course when there are so many other options in the area.

Just not worth it
Course is under heavy maintenance right now and hopefully will be better in the future, but I don’t know why anyone would play here with all the maintenance going on when you can play stoneybrook for the same price without all the maintenance. During season this place charges $90+ and it’s flat out not worth it, try Babcock National instead for cheaper!

Construction of sand traps going on during play
This is normally a pretty good golf course but they are redoing most of the sand traps and have heavy equipment out on the course while play is going on. They also scraped the greens for some reason and it was almost impossible to figure the speed or break. Try playing golf when there is a 10 ton tractor beeping next to the green.

Nice course
Nice and not very difficult course. I can't remember the last time I played on the same ball from start to finish. Probably due to not very much water. Very friendly people all over, from bar to starter to pro shop. Had 3 clubs regripped before the round and they were done in 20 minutes. Will definitely play here again.
