Golfer Reviews
Challenging course with lots of great views and elevation changes.
I've always really enjoyed playing this course. The scenery is great and with all of the elevation changes that are built into it , it's always a challenge - particularly if it's wet and/or windy. They had aerated some of the fairways shortly before I played on this particular occasion (which is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5), which does take away from the experience, but I can overlook this because I really do love this course and know what it's like at its very best.
Love the course
Played here several times the past two years and really love going there. The course is always in very good condition and some of the views are great. Except for #9, long uphill par 5 all the other holes are playable. I'm not the best golfer and have lost some balls there but it's not by course design it's by stupid shots!
Play it and you'll be back!
Good option for play in NE Pa
Jack Frost has a variety of good holes with good maintenance of the course. It offers good value for your money. The par 5's are the strongest feature. There are mostly good par 4's. Two great par 3's and a couple weak ones. If in the area Jack Frost is a must play compared to the multitude of other public options.
Golf in Heaven!
Jack Frost was my favorite course that I played this summer and I played over 25 different courses. I played it on Friday, the next Friday I took my wife to play it, she wanted to play it again. And this course is about 75 miles one way from my home. The staff is so nice and friendly. It is like playing private golf.
