There are so many improvements being done

Everything looks good. Every time we play there they’re doing something new.

Vastly improved course. Beautiful layout. Lots of trees and shade even on hot days. With the Golf Now app it is very affordable !!

Amazing layout. Grrens were pretty decent. Overall conditions average to slightly above average.

With the right superintendent and a sufficient budget, this course could be as nice if not nicer than most private clubs in the area. Just the golf. There are no other amenities.

You need planks put down so you could get to the greens without walking thru a swamp. Same condition it was in before they got millions from leftover Covid money. Don’t know what they are doing with that money but I use to like playing there before. Not now

I moved to the Scranton-WB area in 1987 and played this course regularly due to the layout and condition of the course. It is probably the best layout of the courses in NEPA. Unfortunately, the course went downhill about 6-7 years ago and I stopped playing it. Recently, a friend of mine played the course and indicated that it wasn't that bad. With that in mind, I gave it another chance but was quickly reminded why I haven't played it since 2016-17. I honestly have nothing positive to say about the course except for the greens which were actually in good shape for the most part. They played fast, which completely surprised me considering the obvious neglect the rest of the course is experiencing. Even though it only cost $30 to play, I would highly recommend that you stay away from this miserable dog track. It's truly a shame that this once terrific course is now a complete dump. I wish someone would buy it and shut it down for a full season or more in order to refurb the entire facility.

I played here this summer and wrote a review about how hard the group at WB Muni is working to return the course to its original glory. Played again yesterday and the progress is fantastic. Keep it up!

Great public course . Very well maintained. Just needs some finishing touches, ie bunkers . But a great place to golf. Easy to get to.Just a really good experience ...

Needs work for more even tees and some green and fairways are spotty.. lot of divot holes no one fixes.. if people took care of they’re own play the greens and fairways would manage themselves. I’ve played there for years and it’s been worse.. it’s coming along but golfers need to commit to fixing what they can regarding divots and chunked balls. Still a challenge from whites and blues is a definite challenge..

A foursome of elderly gentleman in front of us that brought the back 9 to a stand still, but in todays times just have 2 grin and bear it. Booked the round on Golfnow at a nice price. This course is a total value for the price in todays golf world. I do recommend and will be back.

This course has the potential to be a very nice public course. Mind you I only played the front 9 twice, so I cannot speak to the conditions of the back 9. The course surely speaks to being the third longest course in PA. My main complaint is the overall maintenance of the course. The fairways are tree lined on both sides for the most part, and if you hit your ball 3 feet off the fairway it is impossible to find your ball in the rough. The greens had not only clippings all over them, but on several greens putts would bounce up and down. The presence of grounds crew workers leads me to believe that work is being done to make the course more presentable, but is a bit worrisome when they are working directly behind the green you are hitting your approach shot into. Overall, would be an average public course if small detail oriented tasks could be taken care of.

The course is improving a lot. The greens are very good. The sand traps however are deplorable. Tee boxes are improving also. So overall the get good grades for effort.
