Trail/Blue at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
About
Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club boasts 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three 18-hole combinations. The three different nines are natural named Blue, Ridge, and Trail. Tucked away in the hills of northeastern Pennsylvania, the golf courses provide stunning scenery and views. All of the holes were carefully carved from the surrounding woodlands and molded into the hillsides. An abundance of trees characterizes the course, giving all of the holes a secluded feel that is further enhanced by the design, which doesn't feature any parallel fairways. The Trail/Blue Course combines the shortest and longest nines but both are considered slightly more challenging than the Ridge nine. The Trail nine possesses two of the four water holes at the club. There is a combination for every skill level and four sets of tees make the nines even more accommodating.

Weekend round with son
{Played the Ridge/Blue courses) Each of the 9s we played had features that can challenge you but play fair. The GPS cart is a great added feature. Well worth your trip!!
Nice course
Matt helped us out, we were late for our tee time. The starter did not even put our bags on the cart.
Wonderful golf course
The course is really good condition.
The layout is really fun and beautiful.
Beautiful Mountain course
Excellent course, excellent staff. Elevation changes and rough configuration make for a challenging round.
Beautiful Mountain course
Excellent condition on the greens and fairways. Rough was challenging and the fairways were narrow and from the tips it was challenging. It was straight forward from the tees, no blind shots. The staff in the pro shop was very friendly and accommodating .
Good time @ blue ridge trail
My 4some arrived early. We were allowed to warm up and get out ahead of our tee time. The staff was great. The course was in great condition and played very challemging.
Great time!
My friend Ski and I,
Really enjoy Blue Ridge.
The course, bunkers and Greens were in very good shape, it appeared that most of the golfers fixed their ball marks too, smooth and true.
I loved the waste lands, along with the GPS services, many of the holes also offer great views of the woods, meadows, marshes and wildlife; while I was taking it all in, I also stepped on a snake.
As Arnold said, I'll be back!
Perfect afternoon
Wednesday afternoon must be the perfect time to golf here. We teed off at 3:20, had some company on first tee, but we were alone the rest of the way. Conditions were ideal & course was impeccable. I recommend highly!!
Great value
Great condition and a real challenge . Great facility and well managed. Thank for a great time.
Slow, Slow, Slow
The good news is that the weather was excellent and the course was in very good to excellent condition. The bad news is that my group got bumped behind a group of 16 at the time I made the Golfnow tee time and this caused us to just drag along and wait on every shot. Not very conducive for good play or enjoyment of your round. We didn't see a ranger or anyone trying to get play moving either. I'd have to think twice about playing this course on a Fri/Sat/Sun if this is typical.
We were in town for a family reunion and I had played last year by myself to try out the course and just zipped around but I played very early in the morning as a single that time.
A side note: the ladies and senior tees are very friendly and give quite an advantage so it really makes play fair and more fun for those players.
nice course with challenging holes
picturesque course that has 27 holes. greens are tough and a good drive a must. only negative foursome in front was slow and foursome behind was always hitting by us
A must...
The greens was in excellent condition and fast. It's among my favorite among in northeast. The course rate for a course with this quality is ridiculous.
super value for the money!! worth the drive.
The greens held even in summer conditions. Very challenging from gold tees. Will return , definetly. Worth the trip ,very scenic, challenging slopes , and use all but two clubs in the bag .
Great course but SLOW
Made a tee time for 2 golfers. Was made to wait 30 minutes past tee time to start in order to pair us up with other players. Course in great shape but only played 13 holes due to the painfully SLOW pace of play. Will gladly go to other courses in the area and spend more money to get a better experience.
Great Public Course
I belong to a private club but sometimes you want to change things up a bit. This course was perfect for that - especially with 27 holes. It is a link style course so you do not see other holes. It's like you are out on the course all by yourself. The carts have a GPS system which made it really easy and quick for players who want distances. You could also order food to be ready for you at the turn. Some really long holes and tough areas - bring extra balls and plan to lose a few.
Tee Time and Cart Issues
When we arrived, we intended to hit a bucket of balls to warm up. Once arrived, we were told that our Tee Time moved up 20 minutes. It would have been appropriate to been given notice.
Additionally, the cart GPS didn't work, when we asked for a replacement, the attendant had attitude.
What a great place to play
We played 2 days and played all 27 holes...all courses were in great great shape despite a little rain that did pass through. We were able to walk on and had almost no waiting on every hole it was great. The food was great and the beer was cold at the clubhouse, good service friendly staff I recommend this course to any who are looking for great views challenging golf holes where you do need to use almost all of your clubs. We met a foursome from Canada and they said what we said they could not believe the value $34 for a 11am round...we will be back.
Beautiful greens and fairways
Absolutely loved my experience at this course, it came to me highly recommended and did not disappoint.
Great layout
Coming from jersey this course was pretty far but well worth the trip. The course was in excellent shape. GPS on the cart.
