Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club boasts 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three 18-hole combinations. The three different nines are natural named Blue, Ridge, and Trail. Tucked away in the hills of northeastern Pennsylvania, the golf courses provide stunning scenery and views. All of the holes were carefully carved from the surrounding woodlands and molded into the hillsides. An abundance of trees characterizes the course, giving all of the holes a secluded feel that is further enhanced by the design, which doesn't feature any parallel fairways. The Trail/Blue Course combines the shortest and longest nines but both are considered slightly more challenging than the Ridge nine. The Trail nine possesses two of the four water holes at the club. There is a combination for every skill level and four sets of tees make the nines even more accommodating.

Awesome course

Blue Ridge is hands down one of the best public courses in PA.. The gps, course condition, staff, and range is awesome! The only downfall is its always packed.. 18 holes can take up to 4-5 hours to play even though they have 27 holes ... Besides that, I strongly recommend playing this course!!!

Wow! What a hidden gem!

I am NOT from the area, but I am so glad I found this course. There are many blind tee shots, that makes the GPS on the carts very valuable! There are 6 tee sets, and I would definitely recommend playing to your ability. The starter was incredibly nice and put me in with a twosome instead of making me wait behind a couple of groups. The course is in great shape and the Green roll true and fast! I cannot wait to be up here again!

Beautiful Course - Long Round

We played the Ridge/Trail combo on Saturday August 15. The course was beautiful with a challenging variety of holes that are very fun to play. The conditions were a little soft, but it was otherwise in excellent shape. The greens rolled at a moderate pace. Unfortunately the experience was somewhat lessened by the near 6 hour round. In almost every case, we rolled up to the next tee with the group ahead still teeing off. The worst of it came when we made the turn from the Ridge to the Trail, and became the fourth group on the hole. In addition, I would advise everyone to bring bug spray. The gnats are brutal. All in all, I would definitely give it another shot.

Great Start to the Day

Played with my 2 sons on a Friday morning. We got out early and Jeff came right up to us and made us feel welcomed and at home. The course is in great shape and what a bargain. It is a little out of the way but do not let that deter you. Had a great day , Will return soon.

Fantastic golf course

I played the Blue and the Ridge courses and both were great. The design is fantastic, just great hole after great hole. The course is challenging but fair. The course was very well maintained with well kept greens. I paid a little less than $50 for a Saturday morning tee time and I'd say it was a great value.

Beautiful

Lots of wildlife on the course seen like ten deer conditions were amazing only thing I didn't like was the old man at the clubhouse we booked the round through genesis golf pre paid and he didn't believe we payed also we were like 2 minutes late for the tee time with the course empty and was giving us attitude and telling us to hurry but I told them we are fast golfers and will catch up to the group ahead which we did on the 3rd hole than waited 10 mins a hole but loved the golf course especially the 18th

Great Day

We were paired with a very nice couple for 9 of our 18 holes. On number 7, my husband hit a hole in one! Happy Gilmore style- he hit too far left, the ball bounced off a tree, then on the cart path, then bounced off a big rock and projected the ball onto the green and IN THE HOLE! What a perfect day. We love Blue Ridge Trail.

One of NEPA's finest!!

First time at BRT this year and it didn't disappoint. Played 18 with a friend in just over 3 hours. We got lucky! S/o to Jeff for that though. The course was greener than most at this time. Maintained very well, as always. I recommend Blue Ridge to everybody!!

great deal

Course was in good condition, except for the putting greens. They weren't in the best shape but you could tell they were fixing them. Food and pace was excellent on the course.

Nice course, terrible pace of place

This was my first time playing this course. Overall it was a nice course and was in decent shape. The pace of play was horrendous with our round being 5 hours and 45 minutes on a Saturday mid day. Not sure it's worth spending that amount of time on the course.

Course was great

First time playing, saw advertisements on TV. Glad I took the drive, about 45 mins. Worth every penny. Great staff, course was in great shape. Fairways were neat and well maintained. Greens were also in good shape, they had just aerated one of the nines we played, but still fantastic. Very reasonably priced, can't wait to go back!

Wonderful Course, bad weather

I have played this course before which made me want to return. However the weather got worse as we played. Highly recommend playing this course if you have a chance on a nice sunny day.

Superb course conditions

From the manicured bunker areas to the tee boxes, fairways and greens, this course has it all. much variety with 27 holes. Beautiful scenery and very courteous staff.
A locker room would be a welcome addition but doesn't take away from why you come there.

What a pleasure to play this course. Course conditions from tee to green were the best I played all year. Greens were fast and a challenge. Can't wait to play again.

Good course, bad timing on my part

I booked my late afternoon tee time at lunch time since I had nothing to do the rest of the day. I got there around 2:30-2:40 for a 3:12 tee time and was immediately told I could go out behind a threesome that was just about to tee off, which was fine with me. Playing as a single, I knew I'd be behind a regular group. The blue nine, which I played first, was in good shape, but the greens had been aerified recently and were bumpy and sandy. Otherwise, that nine was in great shape. After finishing the blue, I was told to go to ridge 3 to start my back nine because a tournament was still finishing up. Not a huge deal, but slightly annoying to not play the course in order. But I got to play 1 and 2 at the end, so I still got the proper 18 holes in so I can post a GHIN score. This is a popular course that hosts a lot of tournaments, so it was my own fault for not calling ahead to make sure the course was open. Despite the tournament, I still played at a brisk pace as a single and really have no complaints. I'll be back again multiple times before the fall is over.

We played Trail then Ridge. Ridge was more challenging but still very playable. Awesome condition. We will be back in the future to play Blue. Worth the 1 1/2 drive (one way).
