Greens
3rd time playing this course this summer. Greens are challenging enough without some of the ridiculous pin placements I've seen. Not enjoyable.
Good Course Overall
Course has a lot of character. A little bit for everyone. Only complaint is there was some rain the day before, and the ground didn’t soak up any of the water, so there were a number of areas where it was wet, yet still hard and fast. Would recommend to others wanting to play in the area.
Great deal and great course
I found a deal for my 2 friends and I to go out Monday at 11 and ride 18 for a great price. The course was in great shape and we got to play at whatever pace since not many people were there that day. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Cant wait to go back.
Mediocre course
Condition of course was ok. Many tee boxes were more dirt then grass. I’m a big fan of tough greens, but these greens ruin the game. Too much undulation and whomever is positioning the pins is making poor decisions. Several pins were 4 feet from the fringe, on a slope. Either putt is made or rolls 30 feet away from hole or off the green. Pace was brutal but it was crowded so i don’t blame the course too much for that.
Too much hard pan
I lost count of the times I was on the fairway and within an iron shot and my club bounced off the rock-hard turf and flubbed my shot. I did not enjoy that round.
Greens
The course layout was good the greens will ruin a good game, very hilly other then that nice course.
Father/Son 18 Holes enroute to Philadelphia
Looked for somewhere to play just off the freeway & found Eagles Crossing. Although close proximity, we did have to take a roundabout route to actually get there. Was worth it! Staff were very friendly and food & drinks very reasonably priced.
As has been mentioned elsewhere, several pin positions were challenging. The course had some areas in need of some attention, but overall very enjoyable.
Cheers!
Something for everyone.
It had been some time since we last played Eagles Crossing. It's a little bit of a drive for me, so it went ignored for a couple of years. Having re-discovered the course earlier this year, I have to say that this place is one of best facilities around. The course is in great shape and the staff is super friendly. Golf course food has always been a favorite of mine, and their dogs and sausages are the best! The prices don't break the bank, either. The pro shop has just enough supplies to replace what you may have forgotten...I bought a wedge, reasonably priced, and I love it. Overall, I have been having repeated great experiences at this course!
Literally every pin was placed on the top of a hill where the green runs away from the pin in every direction.
The one stall in the men’s bathroom was clogged and flooding water all over the floor
