Morgan Hill Golf Course
About
The Morgan Hill Golf Course in Easton has a somewhat misleading name since you'll find more than just hills on this challenging course. Be prepared to face a variety of elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. The golf course has a dramatic design that is carved into a hillside, which makes it a hard course to walk but one that is visually interesting and tough to play. It may not be a layout for the faint of heart but the scenery alone is enough to provide enjoyment. Golfers can enjoy scenic views of the river, but scenic respite is the only break you'll get. There is hardly an even lie to be found and the severely undulating greens will test even the most seasoned golfers. Also, be prepared for a slew of blind shots at Morgan Hill Golf Course.

Very Tough Course For First Time Players!!!! A Lot Of Blind Shots And Rolling Hills!!! Shots Are Tough To Find Because Of This!!!! Large Slope Greens!!!! Course Was In Excellent Condition!!!!
A test of shot making, maybe
First, great views of the Easton area and one hole with a great view of the Delaware River. I saw those too, but mostly I saw a lot of rough. 3" tall, and covering the ball 50%. Stay in the fairway even if it requires an iron on the tee, the penalty is quite high most places.
As a first time player, not only didn't I know where to go on blind holes (tee and greens!!) but also with dramatic changes in elevation on EVERY HOLE but maybe 1,2, and 3, you are not quite sure what to hit to an elevated or depressed green.
I played significantly over my handicap, including lost balls and one OB from hitting through the fairway on one hold - you just don't know how far away some of these hazards are.
Traps need sand and just maintenance; at least rake the rocks out. That would be my only complaint about conditions.
The layout is just tough the first time even though the course is not 'long' it plays long because of uphill drives that take 20-40 yards off. Also the entire foursome will be required to find balls in the deep rough; good penalty area but slows down play when you can't see the driving area rough from the tee! Might be ok if you could see balls land.
Even in a cart you will get great exercise; walking is unthinkable, though that is my preference.
Everyone was wonderful, and I'd go back. Hopefully before I forget the holes. OH, get the little booklet with a map from the starter.
CUT THE GREENS !!!!!!!!!!!!
RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Drove 1:15 minutes to play this course and you show up and the greens aren't cut. Its called a greens fee for a reason and when you do NOTHING to the greens you are ripping me off. How are you supposed to putt with all the dew on the greens? They couldn't even sweep the dew off Every putt is a different speed depending on the moisture on the green. Forget about getting a long putt to the hole, terrible experience.
I WILL NEVER PLAY THIS COURSE AGAIN (and I like it), COMPLETE AND TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. Play a course where they actually care about their customers.
Morgan Hill
Beautiful golf course incredible views of PA not a single flat lie very hilly many blind shots tough tough course but incredible shape so worth it have to play it numerous times to know where to leave ball not a bombers course strategy a must
Good day with my son.
Not for the faint of heart, it's not called Morgan Hills just for location. It is very hilly. Yes I would play it again but not tomorrow.
Challenging lay out.
Played here years ago, I think it was the first season I golfed. Didn't remember much a decade later, but the layout and views are stunning and the curse was exceptionally challenging. Also in great shape. Looking forward to coming back with a fresh memory of the layout in my head, hopefully shave a few strokes with all the blind shots.
Challenging golf course
Great layout......lots of undulation on greens as well as fairways.Hard to find an even lie on most shots making it very challenging.Played first tee time and starter greeted us immediately and got us all set to play.Pro shop staff equally friendly and informative. An hour drive for us but well worth the trip...
