Morgan Hill Golf Course
About
The Morgan Hill Golf Course in Easton has a somewhat misleading name since you'll find more than just hills on this challenging course. Be prepared to face a variety of elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. The golf course has a dramatic design that is carved into a hillside, which makes it a hard course to walk but one that is visually interesting and tough to play. It may not be a layout for the faint of heart but the scenery alone is enough to provide enjoyment. Golfers can enjoy scenic views of the river, but scenic respite is the only break you'll get. There is hardly an even lie to be found and the severely undulating greens will test even the most seasoned golfers. Also, be prepared for a slew of blind shots at Morgan Hill Golf Course.

Mr. G
Very pleasantly surprised!
and the greens were rolling and in great shape!
Course was challenging
I played this course for the first time and upon arrival the staff was very friendly the clubhouse was very clean and had a great appearance the round of golf was challenging the rate of pace was very good and my overall experience was excellent. After the round of golf we enjoyed some lunch and the atmosphere inside the bar was excellent.
Beautiful
Lovely view, course challenging, and very accommodating at the pro shop.
Best Value
Best course for your money in Western Jersey/Lehigh valley area. Nicest course and most challenging course I have played.
Hills
Every shot was uphill or downhill. Even the fairways were undulating so there weren't too many flat areas. I had to aim for specific spots in the fairways. If I missed the spot I was either in a trap or shooting from an awkward lie above or below my feet. Many times I couldn't see the green. Luckily the fellow I was playing with would point out line-of-sight targets.
Long Day in Easton
Although the course was in good shape the day was spoiled by an interminable amount of time on the course. The front 9 took 2 & 1/2 hours, which will happen on a weekend but the back none was over 3 hours due to the group in front of us that was playing from tees they had no business playing from & no ranger on the course for the entire day. When we finished and asked for the pro we were told that he had left for the day a 5 pm, must have been nice for him.
Challenging Course
This course is well kept and has alot of slopes. Fun to play but don't walk it.
Course has a lot of character, and blind shots
Course was in gd shape, always is, bad part is that it was raining, cold and windy the day we played. Play it on a nice day, you won't be disappointed.
Beautiful course, slow play
I love, the beauty of this course. The course was in good shape and the greens were excellent for early May. But the course has always been difficult, especially the back, and is now unplayable for many, including the two foursomes of high handicappers ahead of us, All you need to know about pace of play is encapsulated in the sign on the 12th tee that you should be there in 3 hours and two minutes. What?? They need to make this beauty a lot more player friendly. We left after 4 hours and 15 minutes as we became the third group on the 17th tee.
Perfect Drives = Terrible Lies
The fairways and greens were manicured very nicely. Couldn't get over the Blind tee-shots, side hill, down hill fairways.
Very disappointing to say the least.
If you like scenery with difficult conditions and unfair lies, this is your course.
You won't see me there ever again.
Bring your A game
Morgan Hill is a fairly tough track in excellent shape. Lots of elevation changes, wind and blind shots make club selection a real challenge. The greens rolled great but many are large with significant swales. Land in the wrong spot and it's 3 putt city. A must play if you're in the area. We had a 4.5 hour round but it was a Saturday and knuckleheads ahead playing the wrong tees.
Great course.
Got the round for $28 as a hot deal. Well worth the money. Course has a lot of character.
Course conditions vs price
I sure the course can justifies it's per round fee. It was my first time and one of the only courses open this early in the year. We were allowed to play holes 1 thru 10 twice. We did get 20 holes of golf in in March which is a plus. The course was wet, cart paths only, and the greens slow. This was expected. Still, I thought it was pricey for this time of year. Without discount it was $56 a round in March..
My playing partners had played there in the past. They quit going because its too pricey. We paid $46.50 each on a discount deal from golf now. That was almost twice the other hot deals offered for that day at other course in a 40 mile radius.I have to agree with the guys that there are much better values in the area. Unfortunately they were few available at this time of year and those available were all taken by the time I booked.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bartender opened a half hour early for beverages. She was excited with the process of adding an addition to the pro shop downstairs Which will provide a seating area outdoors upstairs for this golf season.
I would like to play again when the entire course is open. I would search for a discounted voucher. The sixty to seventy dollar greens fee is too much for my pocket for a weekly player.
Great course
This is one of my favorite courses. Not only is it an interesting golf course but the food and drinks are delicious after. Staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating.
Great Course Golf in Feb.
We had a great time playing this course. Lots of risk reward options. Challenging and fun. The staff was limited( It's February) but extremely friendly and helpful. Can't wait to play here in the spring or summer,As cart GPS would be very helpful for yardages. Overall a Great experience.
Tough Course
I received a great price from Golf Now.
I am an 11 handicap and I enjoy this course. You must work hard at Morgan Hill to get par's and birdies. The placement of the your Tee shot is critical and sets up the next shot. Bad tee shots result into as high score.
I found the fairways are hilly. Flat shots come at a premium. The greens are large and challenging but fair. I am a senior golfer but still play decently.
Enjoy this course. Challenging. Bring your "A" game.
Gimmicky course with slow greens
The course has great views and vistas. However, I played with a friend and we both found that it often didn't matter if you hit a great drive or a an average drive- the ball often ended up in the same collection area. Most holes do not allow for you to have an even lie on your approach shots and this got annoying after a while. I guess the course is fun to play once in a while to watch as the ball bounces off of mounds into collection areas, but would hate to play here all of the time. Most of the tee boxes were closed for the winter I am guessing and the greens were terribly slow and bumpy.

If you look at the review about yours there was no issues. Our GPS system allows us to monitor every group on the golf course as to pace of play. Our records for that day show no signs of slow play. It is obvious you did not approve of the group in front of you and sometimes that happens on a holiday weekend. we are sorry for your inconvenience but our records show no slow play. As for the ranger i was on the golf course with the GPS monitor on my cart as well so we are able to monitor the entire day from the golf shop
As for staff hours the golf course is set up by 5:30am because our first tee time is 6am.
