Gettysburg National Golf Club

Love this course and the staff and will be playing more at this location but today's pace was really slow. Stopped after 4 hours and 15 minutes after completing 14 holes. At one point, I saw an entire par 5 open so someone just needed to address the slower players so the faster players could play through. Last time I played there , foursomes were very willing to let twosomes play through but not today.

This course is now named Gettysburg National. This is a good course in that is is playable but also has some very good golf holes. The greens can be sneaky fast and are smooth. Having played after it first opened and coming back over timer the trees having definitely become a factor on many of the holes. Overall a solid course that is not too punishing.

Chose to play here while our course was closed for the day due to a trounament.

Affordable golf with very friendly staff. Always enjoy playing here when I get a chance.

Overall, I like this course a lot. Good degree of difficulty and generally the course is in good conditions. In my mind the single thing that would make this a great course is level tee boxes. It is difficult to get a level spot no matter where you stand on most of the tee boxes. Otherwise this is a great course for the value

The staff at the golf course were friendly & very helpful considering that Golf Now over rode the golf courses tee times & double booked people!!

GolfNow: My golfing partner and I arrived at the course to find there was a huge tournament and we were not allowed to play.

This was very upsetting since we both travelled a long way for a nice Gettysburg weekend to include golf on Saturday. I’m not sure how Golf Now could allow this to happen.

Dont use golfnow it doesnt work the course said there computers dont recognize golfnow so there was no tee time

This course is a most play for any golfers that want to enjoy a great round of golf. The course is in excellent condition. The layout is great. The staff is superb.

Relaxing, very scenic, and overall a very nice course to play.

So this is mountain view golf course under new ownership. The new owners/ green keeper staff have done an excellent job on course renovation/maintenance.

Amenities

The new snack bar has 4 different beers on tap plus cans and full bar. Still have food and snacks.

Pro shop has all new towels and shirts great design and selection of gloves,balls,tees etc. Inside dining and patio is very nice.

Staff

Super friendly and courteous. Very approachable to talk to.

Course

Course was beautiful, new back nine layout is great. Fairways and ruff were greatly maintained. I will say only reason it didn’t get a 5 star is because the bunkers were hard and some had standing water in them. My Honest opinion, the gentlemen I talked to said they are on the list to make them better just haven’t gotten to the project yet.

Overall

You can’t beat the price for this semi challenging for $40/ cart included. Amazing Mountain View’s with wildlife all around.

Overall 5 stars and would recommend this course to anybody and everybody.
