Very nice
This is my favorite corse in the area. Every time I go out its beautiful no matter what time of year. I have been out 4 times to Mountainview this winter. This corse is great for all levels of play.
One of my favorites
This course is a very good course all around. The staff is very friendly, the course is always in great shape, you can find great deals on Golfnow, the snack bar is very nice, the driving range is great and the layout is fun. This course is a much better value than Carroll Valley golf course, which is just down the road a few miles. I highly recommend this course.
A good course to walk
This would be a fine course to walk/ Lot of sand on the course. I.personally would like to see better sand.. Most all of the traps were sand scarce and had little stones in them. Course was in good shape for late November. No leaf issues on the greens.. which is a sign of the course being taken care of.
Great course
Fairway and greens were in great shape!! Definitely play here again
bnee
Very friendly staff. Course is in great condition. Beautiful location. A great course for an average golfer like me.
Perfect way To Spend The Day
The course was very wet due to previous weather so we played cart path only on 7 of the 18 holes; but the greens were still lush yet challenging. (We have played other courses that charge much more and do not maintain the tee boxes, etc ) We have played this course many times and always have a wonderful experience. We love the "challenge" of the layout! It is the perfect place to spend the afternoon with family & friends. Thanks for a relaxing, fun day!
Always enjoy the Mountain View
Beautiful day with very few on the course. I guess everyone was watching Ryder Cup or football which was great for us. The course was in very good condition despite the rain which left some standing water in places.
This course is always top notch
Great course. Staff is outstanding.Maintenance of course is great. Always an enjoyable time when we play Mt. View !!!!!
Great Course in Superb Condition!
Super course that is always very well kept. Unbelievable for the price if you get a hot now deal!
Great value
Golf course in excellent condition. Great attention to detail all around. Even bunkers are well maintained.
Great little course!
I was really impressed on the course conditions for this time of year. The layout is challenging enough for a golfer of any level and the rough is fairly forgiving. I would play here next time I'm in the area and so should you! Pace of play was the only drawback, but not the worst I've seen.
Great time at a very nice course
My son and I enjoyed a round of golf at Mountain View. We were supposed to tee off at 12:36, but were able to tee off around 25 minutes early. We played in a little over 3 hours without rushing. The course is in great shape despite the heat and dry weather. The workers at the course could not have been more friendly.
very well maintained
course is flat with no horrible stances. It is a very playable course with no trick holes. Greens are wonderful to putt on, smooth and quick. Everything is cut perfect. This was a very enjoyable day.
Very Nice
Nice rural setting. Lots of rain the night before so the course played longer than it is. Greens were fantastic! Smooth and relatively fast with a lot of undulations . I would go here again and again
Enjoyable course
Enjoyable layout in good condition. Will play again.
great course
Course in absolute great shape. Fairways are beautiful and easy to hit off of. Greens are running fast, but true roll. Would replay this course any time.
Good deal.
The price was great and the coarse was in good condition. We plan to play again.
Course & Staff Topnotch
In spite of all the rain recently the course was in great shape. Cart path only on just one hole (#10)
Check-in person and starter/ranger always polite and courteous.
Wife and I love playing the course. She usually beats me.
good course great value
The weather cleared up and I was bored so I found a great deal for $15 plus fee. Problem was it was an hour drive for me, but I like to try different courses...would it be worth the drive? I was expecting a very hilly course given it's location and name, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find a very level track with no blind shots, what you see is what you get. The course was in very good condition, tee boxes were in good shape, greens were smooth and fast, fairways were in very good shape (but were probably due to be mowed), and the rough was cut moderately short which made finding and hitting balls easy. Bunkers were in very good condition, well raked, full of sand and no weeds. The clubhouse is a restored farmhouse with a really nice outdoor bar and grill. So here's the verdict: if you want a really challenging layout this is not your course, but if you're like me and you want to enjoy the game without spending the day looking for your ball and playing massively long par 4's this is the place. The staff was very friendly, two thumbs up! PS this would be a super nice course to walk, very few long walks to the tees!.
