Great old school course. Pace subpar, challenging yet need upgrades to clubhouse, cart girl etc. Staff really needs to make pace of play priority it's been horrible lately 4.5 hour average yet course is easy play in 3 hours.

With no warning or notice on the GolfNow app Meadowood closed the back 9 and aerated the greens on the front the day before. I don’t know whether this falls under the course or the app to keep up with, but I would not have played here if I knew of the conditions beforehand.

Just aerated the greens but no mention over phone when asking for hours or when checking in. Back nine was closed, also not noted at check in. Rained most day over the last week so very wet in low fairways and 40% of bunkers were puddles. Maintenance around holes 8 and 9 bunker/greens, as noted at check in. Staff was friendly, just uninforming of course conditions. Happy playing in the past, just not the best conditions under the current weather circumstance

Slow Pace of Play
We always enjoy playing at Meadowood due to the challenging layout and good course conditions. The fairways don't drain well, so there are often muddy patches. Biggest problem was pace of play. Fortunately, we had four pairings that graciously let our twosome play through, but they definitely need a ranger.

A fresh new view
I hadn't played Meadowood in about 20 years, so I really don't remember much about it when I last played it, other that it was nice. Still is. There were a few wet spots from the previous night's rain but was well needed. Greens were nice, fairly quick, and true. No refreshment cart service but didn't miss it. Water and ice available free of charge. Challenging layout for any skill level. Looking forward to a return visit.
