Enjoyed it very much
The only "gig" we had against the course was the scorecard shows "combo tees", but nobody could tell us what the yardage was for the combos. Otherwise, we were totally impressed with Meadowood.

Needs Care of Grounds
Grounds around greens were bare in many places. Lots of crabgrass in fairways.

very slow play
usually play is ok. the starter allowed a single to go out. before that - a foursome. after the single was a twosome. after the twosome was a foursome. the twosome round took about 41/2 hours. slowed at first by the single. thereafter by the foursome ahead of the single when the single quit. why the single was allowed out - i do not know. only played 3,000 rounds of golf the last 60 years. thank you

Shortage of carts, slow play
Upon arriving one hour early to use the range and warm up, I was told there is a shortage of carts by a “bag boy,” I said no problem I have time. About 10 mins to my tee time still no carts, when my time came they were not even letting out groups that were 30 mins before me. Waiting by the first tee, the 4 some that finally went out 30 mins scheduled before me was so bad and slow they didn’t even make it halfway down the first fairway for 10 MINS! I said no wonder there are no carts coming back in from finishing 18, it was the land of the walking dead, so many old people and women the pace of play was horrific, I got my money back and won’t be returning again.

This course has on going maintenance issues in almost every area, with the exception of the Greens.
