Challenging Fun Variety
Challenging, tree lined course that is well marked, well bunkered with nice variety of holes. Two single-digit handicappers playing blue tees with two women playing red tees. The blue tees offered tight drive zones and required some shot shaping. Par 3 distances 175-190 from blues. One par 5 curvaceous and strategically bunkered, other par 5 straight as an arrow. Distance from red was nicely shorter. The fairways and bunkering good shape (early August) with some greens having quadrants of dead grass. Pin placements smartly made to offer best possible putting (greens rolled a lot nicer than expected). We plan to return another to.ecduring our stay this week. After round bar and grill friendly and attentive.
Course conditions
It seems like the conditions are normally pretty good. The ruff seemed really long making it time consuming and difficult to locate your ball even if you barely roll off the green or fairway.
Enjoyed the course
I enjoyed playing this course, those were the narrowest fairways I’ve ever played on. It was definitely challenging but I enjoyed it I played with one of your regulars so I had some help getting around the course.
Great course for a quick 9
Looking for a quick 9,this is a great choice. Conditions and pace of play excellent. Not the most challenging layout with short 4s but very fun to play,
No one here
No one in the pro shop and saw three people on the course over nine holes. Felt like a ghost town. Food in the grill was great!
Decent
The course was in decent shape, some of the tee boxes needed attention and the grass leading up to the fairway was a little too long, trying to find a ball was difficult and slowed play
A Very Nice Afternoon
Discovered a very nice 18 hole layout with lots of pine trees. It was a lot of fun golf. Course was not very busy and I got a great Hotdeal to play. Golfshop got me out as a single and I sailed around the course as there were not very many golfers playing. You have to be able to hit a good tee ball or you will find yourself in the pines...a good tee ball gives a nice look at the green. Greens putted great...didn't have to give it much to get it to the hole. Enjoyed my time and will be back.
Great value
No driving range but they do have a little putting green. There was 6 ahead of us and us a group of 4 then a group of 6 behind us so everyone caught up to each other about the 6th hole. Otherwise for the price it's a nice course to play
Springbrook
