Trappers Turn Golf Club - Lake/Canyon
About
Trappers Turn Golf Club boasts 27 scenic holes that tumble across the glacier-carved hills of Wisconsin Dells. The rolling countryside provided the perfect terrain for course designers Andy North and Roger Packard to create a challenging course, or actually three different 18-hole courses. The team first designed the Canyon and Lake nines and added the Arbor nine in 2000. Each nine has a different character and incorporates a variety of holes. The Lake/Canyon combination combines links-style holes with woodland holes. The Lake Course has four holes that play along the edge of the 13-acre Mystic Lake. There are a variety of elevation changes throughout the golf course, but perhaps none as memorable as the extreme drop in elevation on the Canyon's par-3 seventh, Trappers Turn's signature hole. The hole spills down onto a small green that is situated amidst a glacier-carved canyon but it is not as intimidating as it looks.

Golfer Reviews
Even in the Rain…
Even playing in the rain for most of 18, this course was great! Courses were in great condition, staff was excellent, and the facilities were top notch.
Perfect Sunday round
Played the arbor/lake course on July 5th. Weather was perfect. Course was in amazing condition. The staff was very friendly professional and helpful. It my favorite local course and hope to enjoy many more rounds there 11/10. If you have the opportunity to play Trappers turn take it and you will no be disappointed
Always class
I’ve played here before, but coming back on the 4th of July this year was just so good. Course was in perfect shape, and the American flags on the pins were just icing on the cake. Definitely the best course I’ve played in the Dells. (Haven’t played Wild Rock…yet) Birdied the new #7 canyon hole too. WOW, What a view.
Greens
Really nice layout. Very cool. The greens were slow and a little choppy and the canyon par three you were hitting off a mat and the green was in terrible condition. Super spongy and slow. Disappointing. This course has promise.
