Great place, buy a course book!
Rosslare was fantastic on a typical Irish day along the coast. We had eveything except hail (which was possible that day), and the winds were up and down sometimes gusting 30mph plus and occasionally calm.Being our first time playing Rosslare, we definitely needed to pay close.attention to the card and course guide. Although the course is well marked for yardage and signs guide to the correct holes, finding our correct hole and tees was sometimes challenging. Even with the book, there are many blind shots and lots of unseen obstacles to consider. And, as expected, with those winds, many shots end up in unseen rough or hazards (or even the fairway). Overall, we loved it and can't wait to play again with at least some knowledge of the layout. A caddy may be a good idea, but we didn't even ask. It was a great walk and the facility was very nice----especially the bar/dining room.

A stunning links course. Greens in excellent condition. A fair challenge in the wind. Would definitely play again.
Excellent, just excellent.
Really great course , true links with an awesome stadium feel on some holes. Great, but tough bunkers, true and speedy greens, some great views from tee boxes. Lovely facilities, will be back, often.
Played as a single...
....unfortunately they put me out (a single digit handicap) in a buggy behind a group of 16 from Dublin. I was there and ready to play prior to the first group hit a tee shot. I even obliged them by taking a group photo. This was a rather poor decision by the starter in the pro shop who seemed far more concerned with her next cigarette break than pace of play. I have now traveled from California five times and played over half the links courses on this lovely island. This is one links course that will not find my return nor my recommendation to others.

Fabulous links course
Absolutely fabulous links course. Friendly welcome the moment I arrived. The course itself is a joy. A good mix of varied holes. The wind comes into play, as you would expect on a links course, and the bunkers are amongst the best I have played; the sand is perfect. The greens were in great condition with subtle contours; a joy to putt on. The only disappointment was that the bar was shut on the day, closed for reparatory work.
Overall a joy to play on. I’ll be back!
