Desert Hills Golf Course

The course is in the absolute best condition I’ve seen in years . Management and ground crew have nailed it .

I played this course many times last year and I have never seen it in such good shape.

The course is in excellent condition. the over seeding , this year, is excellent.. the fairways are in great and the greens are in great condition and are speeding up....

Easy to check in after using the putting and chipping practice areas. Lots of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful when our cart wasn’t working well. They brought another in less than 5 minutes. Great conditions.

This course is an unusually nice Municipal Gem!, the Fairways are wide and forgiving, the over-seeding and green care are really very nice especially this year. In fact the greens are on par with some of the 120 dollar courses in Phoenix. The restaurant is good and has a full bar, the carts are quite old but clean and dependable. There is a Pro on staff and the people are very nice!

The course is in good condition, staff members are pleasant and efficient. This is an interesting and challenging course.

This course is better than it's been in 5 years, the greens are still a little long yet but I'm sure will be shorter, fairways are so green right now! Nice work grounds people!

The course is beautiful. Never seen it greener but the mowing leaves a lot to be desired. Fairways left too long with patches of grass strewn all over, greens way too slow, again because of the length of the mowing. Always a difficult course but these things made it much more difficult to the point of not being fun. Our foursome is all mid 70's and not the best players but enjoy the game when not being pushed. Left a chipper somewhere behind us on course retraced to hole, asked other golfers on the way and no one found it but it was not on the last hole that it was used at.

I love using the golf now app for booking a tee time at Desert Hills. It is actually easiey than calling the course for a tee time! The “Hot Deals” are excellent!

We got to the course a bit early, wew gave the receptionist our paper, she gave us the key to a cart & said your ready to go, got to the first tee, there was a 4 some just off the tee, it was brutally unbearable to watch their pace. We finished the first hole, they had just finished teeing off I asked if we could play through, they agreed. We never had anyone in front of us after that. Finished our 18 holes in 3 hours 10 minutes. Course is not very busy now.

We had a real nice day at Desert Hills. Not much interaction with staff but noticed Marshall doing little but picking balls out of pond. Course was busy but pace of play was OK. Fairways good and greens are recovering (slowly) but still not up to par. I will definitely play here again.

Course is in best condition of all courses in Yuma. Disappointing how bad most Yuma courses are for the greens fees they charge. Supply/ demand on full display.

No rough= hardpan. The greens were really ugly / almost looked dead. Don’t bother bringing a wedge because you can’t take a divet. I’ve played this course for 20 years and this is the worst condition yet. We were a threesome being held up by a foursome with 3 open hole in front of them finally went around them. I won’t be back anytime soon

Course is OK but greens obviously are lacking grass and hard as rock. Obviously the overseed could have been better
